This Yamaha FZ 25 Looks Thor’rificly Marvel-lous

The FZ 25 Thor Edition will be available in limited numbers

The FZ 25 Thor Edition will be available in limited numbers

Yamaha has released the Thor Edition of the FZ 25 in Brazil. The bike comes in red and blue colours and graphics, inspired by the God of Thunder’s armour.

You get lightning graphics on the side of the headlight fairing and the text below that proudly indicates that it’s a limited edition motorcycle. This smashing livery combined with the FZ 25’s muscular fuel tank and ‘hunched-up’ look make the already brawny-looking motorcycle even beefier, exactly how Chris Hemsworth does justice to the character he plays.

The Japanese giant’s partnership with Marvel has previously spawned Spiderman, Star Wars, Darth Vader, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Captain America and Iron Man editions of some of its scooters and motorcycles.

The Brazil-spec FZ25’s 249cc air-cooled engine makes 21.5PS and 20.6Nm, paired to a 5-speed transmission. It makes 0.7PS and 0.5Nm more than the India-spec FZ 25 as it doesn’t have to adhere to strict emission norms.

Retailing at 21,990 Real (approximately Rs 3.41 lakh), the Thor Edition costs 500 Real (approximately Rs 7,800) more than the standard variant. That sounds like a killer deal, given you get an attractive colour scheme without having to pay a lot of extra money. While this paint scheme might not make its way to India, Yamaha recently gave us the Monster Energy MotoGP editions of four of its models. They not only look sporty, but come at a minimal price hike.

Best low budget 250cc bike

I have this bike from 2018 and no problem faced till date. Maintenance is cheap, no matter how long you have not started the bike, still it starts in one self. Only draw back is now, I don't get parts and it doesn't have abs feature. I have driven 2500 km in a row with ease and no problem faced. Tubeless tyres. Read More

The Most reliable and efficient 250cc Motorcycle

Reliability was the primary reason as Yamaha Engines are very Reliable. The Maintenance is pocket friendly and the bike has minimum Electronics. The Bike offers amazing mileage which is higher than any other 250cc bike. The Bike is always Smooth to ride even after 7 years. Maintenance has always been basic apart from the replacement of a few wear and rear parts which were mechanical and not very costly. The spare parts availability also was good enough for Yamaha genuine spare parts. This is the most user friendly motorcycle in the 250cc segment. The power output may appear less on paper but the power to weight Ratio is superb which makes this bike easy to manage in traffic and also to control on ghats. The bike always stands out in terms of looks.Read More
