Piaggio to launch a Sporty avatar of Vespa called Vespa VX 125

Piaggio Vespa LX125, the maiden offering of the Italian automobile manufacturer, has grabbed a lot of attention and is the only premium scooter in India. The brand Vespa was there before, first with Bajaj and then with LML, and was one of the most successful scooters in India, but this time around the scooter failed to transform all the attention in sales. Piaggio slashed its price twice, but all these efforts didn't work out. Its price tag is still the biggest and even after it doesn't feature features like disc brake.

Now, Bike India has reported that Piaggio might launch a new variant of the scooter, which will be christened as Vespa VX 125. The new variant will be loaded with more features and new exciting paint jobs, it will be more like a sporty variant of the LX 125. It would be a good news for Vespa fans, but these new features will cost additional, so the VX 125 will price a bit higher. The new fetures like front disc brake unit and tubeless tyres will make it a better buy than the current Vespa LX 125 for sure. We are expecting the Vespa VX 125 to be launched by end of June, while the sales will be commenced by first week of July.
