Ola Electric has announced that it has registered 3,44,005 units in FY25, which is from April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025. This has allowed them to retain 30 percent of the market share in the 2-wheeler electric vehicle segment. Additionally, the brand has also announced that they’ve registered 23,430 units in the month of March 2025.

Along with this, the brand has also stated that they’ve nearly cleared out the backlogs that had accumulated in February 2025. The backlog was a result of Rosmerta Digital Services Limited, a fully-owned subsidiary of Ola Electric which handles vehicle registrations, filing for insolvency over unpaid dues. Ola had recently settled the dues, and the subsidiary withdrew its insolvency application.
Recently the brand had also started deliveries of the Gen 3 platform, which was launched back in January 2025. The Gen 3 platform has made a lot of changes to the scooter, both in terms of performance and underpinnings. These changes have gone a long way in making the scooters a lot more capable. Here's a brief breakdown of the prices of all the models in the Gen 3 lineup:
|

|
S1 X (2kWh) |

S1 X (3kWh) |

|
S1 Pro Plus (4kWh) |

|
S1 Pro Plus (5.3kWh) |
Rs 1,85,000 |
One change that has been brought by the Gen 3 update is the addition of a new top end variant, the Ola S1 Pro Plus. The new model offers impressive performance on paper, with the 5.3kWh variant offering a claimed range of 320km. Here’s a brief breakdown of how the new platform differs from the old.

Summing up, while its product lineup looks healthy, we hope the brand doesn’t lose focus on the servicing front, and also hope that the alleged paperwork issues on some of its dealerships are cleared. After delays, the EV maker is also now expected to start the deliveries of some of the variants of the Ola Roadster electric motorcycle range later this month.
