Earlier, the first lot deliveries were supposed to commence in November

After quite some delay, Ola Electric is now set to commence the deliveries for the S1 and S1 Pro e-scooter tomorrow, December 15. The same was confirmed by the company’s CEO, Bhavish Aggarwal via his Twitter handle. In fact, Ola has also organized a special delivery event for the first 50 customers of the Ola S1 in Bengaluru.

Earlier, the deliveries were supposed to begin in November but due to shortage of chipsets and electronic parts, the dates were pushed. Anywho, it’s just a day’s time before the Ola electric scooters reach their destined customers.

We recently rode the Ola S1 and here’s what we like and dislike about it. If you want to have a detailed look at it, check out these images.

The S1 is priced at Rs 99,999 and the S1 Pro is priced at Rs 1,29,999 (both ex-showroom Bengaluru). However, by availing of the subsidy, you can buy the scooter for a notably lower price.

While you can register your slot on the company’s official website for Rs 499, the final purchase window will open in January 2022. You can read the full buying procedure here.

Excellent EV scooter with awesome features
Excellent scooter with awesome features. It had been my privilege to own this scooter. The range is easy 100+ till 20% battery and top speed I personally have reached 116kmph. Taking calls and listening to songs while riding, reverse assist, ample storage space in boot and many more. My wife and I have simply enjoyed this scooter.

Best review of my scooter
Best performance and best battery, motor battery was not change and the colour is white, in full charge 120 range, the stand was change and first owner scooter, the most futuristic scooter in normal mode 80km/h speed, in sports mode 120 km/h speed, in eco mode 42km/h speed and the acceleration is very smooth.
