The Honda Rebel 500 has received a new variant in Thailand, created by the official accessories division of Honda Thailand. Called the Bobber Supreme Edition, this version has some cosmetic add-ons to help it stand out and give it a slightly meaner
The defining characteristic is a dark theme that makes the bike look rather sinister. Flatter handlebars have been bolted on and the footpegs are slightly more forward-set too, both of which will result in a slightly more aggressive riding posture. Other obvious changes are the bikini fairing around the headlight, also finished in black, and a new seat design.

Black fork gaiters have been thrown in too but an element of contrast is offered by the silver radiator guard. Factor in the more premium engine casing, brake master cylinder cap and premium tyre valve caps, and you have yourself a complete Rebel 500 Bobber Supreme Edition.
But it doesn’t end there, since Honda is also allowing you to add-on some accessories as per your wants. You can pick from saddle stays, soft panniers, throw-over-type leather saddlebags and a tail rack, all of which should make the Bobber Supreme Edition a more touring-friendly motorcycle.

Mechanicals remain unchanged, so propulsion comes from the same 471cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin seen on the standard bike, producing the same 45.5PS at 8500rpm and 44.6Nm at 6000rpm. Everything is suspended on a telescopic fork and twin shocks, and braking is taken care of by discs at both ends with dual-channel ABS.
A limited run of 100 units will be produced. As for the price, Honda will sell the Bobber Supreme Edition for 235,300 Thai Baht (approximately Rs 5.45 lakh), making it nearly Rs 29,000 more expensive than the standard model. And speaking of the standard model, the Rebel 500 could be on its way to India very soon, along with other 500cc models like the CB500F and CBR500R. Interested? Find out more here.

- Honda rebel : the actual meaning of adrenalineYou know, the Honda Rebel 500 is one of those bikes they just completely nailed. It skips all that flashy, heavy chrome we see on old school cruisers and goes for this modern, blacked-out bobber look that works. And the first thing you feel is how crazy low that seat is. Seriously, it's a huge confidence booster.Read More1 1
