Honda Dio H-Smart Price Revealed
The upcoming scooter will get keyless features like that of the Activa 6G H-Smart
Honda has revealed that the upcoming Dio H-Smart will be priced at Rs 77,712, ex-showroom Delhi. It will be the third scooter in the Honda lineup to get the H-Smart tech, after the Activa 6G H-Smart and the Activa 125 H-Smart.
The details of the Honda Dio H-Smart’s new features were leaked online a week ago and from there we got to know that it’ll get keyless functionality along with a key fob. Just like the Activa 6G H-Smart, the new Dio should get features like locating the scooter from up to 10 metres away, unlocking the handle, fuel lid and seat from up to two metres away and even switching on the ignition and automatically locking the scooter when the rider moves more than two metres away.
The Dio H-Smart will also get alloy wheels like that of the Sports variant. Hopefully, it’ll get a disc brake at the front as it’ll definitely enhance the sporty aspect of the scooter. It will be powered by the same 109.5cc air-cooled engine as on the current models but will be BS6.2 and OBD2-compliant.
Honda has also revealed the prices for the OBD2 models of both the Standard and Deluxe variants which are Rs 70,211 and Rs 74,212 (ex-showroom,) respectively. Honda has also listed the ex-showroom Delhi prices of the non-OBD2 compliant Dio Standard and Deluxe models at Rs 68,625 and Rs 72,626, though these models will be on sale only till stocks last. Once officially launched, the Honda Dio H-Smart will rival the Hero Xoom 110.
