The Hero Splendor has been in the Indian market for almost three decades now, and continues to be the best-selling motorcycle here. While no other two-wheeler has come close to toppling Hero’s top gun, the Honda Activa is the second best-selling two-wheeler in India. The Hero Splendor Plus XTec beats the Honda Activa 6G by a big margin, which is mostly down to the Splendor Plus’ 4-speed gearbox. Unlike the Activa’s CVT unit, the manual ’box allows you to milk out maximum mileage. Furthermore, the Splendor even benefits from Hero’s i3S tech.
