Harley Davidson X440 T vs Royal Enfield Classic 350 Images: Styling, Features, Colours

Harley-Davidson recently launched the X440 T, a retro-styled roadster inspired by the Harley-Davidson XR1200X. It is based on the Harley-Davidson X440, but comes with a sportier styling and a bunch of upgrades. We compare it with the top-end ‘Emerald’ variant of the most popular retro-styled motorcycle in India – the Royal Enfield Classic 350, in images:
The Harley-Davidson X440 T looks quite modern when compared to the Classic 350. While these bikes get a circular headlamp, the one on the Harley has a small cover that neatly hides the wires. The one on the Classic 350 looks properly retro, and even gets the iconic chrome hood. It looks a whole lot cleaner than the one on the Harley in our opinion.
Just above the Harley’s headlamp sits the circular TFT instrument console. It looks quite nice and goes with the bike’s character well. On the other hand, the Classic 350 has a semi-digital unit with an analogue speedometer. Sure, it may not be as info-packed as the Harley, but Royal Enfield has made sure it looks the part as far as retro aesthetics are concerned. Moreover, the brand has also thrown in a standard Tripper Navigation pod that is housed on the headlight cowl itself. This turn-by-turn navigation module should come in handy for commutes. The X440 T has bar-end mirrors that are offered as standard. These definitely look sportier but not as premium as the circular chromed out ones on the Classic.
The Harley-Davidson X440 T has a muscular fuel tank that gives it a slightly rugged look. The Classic, on the other hand, has a teardrop-shaped tank that really completes the iconic classic look. Also, the Classic’ chromed out finish, that too with pinstriping on the tank along with the 3D logo looks a whole lot premium than the stickers on the X440 T’s fuel tank. 
The Harley’s engine casing has a matte black finish and comes with neatly done engine fins. When compared to this, the Classic’s polished metal finish looks more premium. While the exhaust on the X440 T is a long, blacked-out unit, the Classic gets a chrome-finished peashooter one. Overall, we think that the Classic 350’s engine looks better, and the exhaust design really flows well with the overall looks.
The somewhat flat side panels are garnished with stickers, but they still look less premium compared to the more symmetric triangular panels on the Classic 350. The suspension setups on both the bikes (inverted fork on the Harley and telescopic on the Classic) are finished in a black shade, but the Classic gets green fork covers that neatly flow into the headlight cowl, and are also finished in the same colour as the bodywork.
Also, the X440 T’s rear is stubby, whereas the Classic is properly curvy, thanks to the traditional full-length rear fender. That said, the tail section in the X 440 T looks a lot better than the X 440, but retro fans will love the clean design of the Classic.

The Harley X440 T is a whole Rs 60,000 more expensive than the Classic 350 at Rs 2,79,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi), but for the premium, you get a much more modern design with hints of retro elements all over, not to mention the obviously more powerful engine. If you’re someone who likes to take things easy, and are a fan of all things retro, then the Classic 350 will appeal to you better.

- The royal feel and real emotion.First of all it was dream bike, so of course once in a dream and there is no going back and also, everyone choose the brand like royal enfield, only the real men can choose royal enfield and ride it like a king. Best bike ever. Good milege even in city roads and great balancing features to ride this beast smoothly. However, someone is willing to ride in city then also it is very good bike for them, It's a quite great bike, really smooth. Because, this bike is an emotion who loves the bike should only buy this bike else, I won't recommend more.
