Yamaha is brewing something interesting in its backyard -- we got our hands on the homologation documents of the Yamaha R15S. According to the file, the Japanese bike maker will be offering the motorcycle in two variants: base-spec R15 and R15S. What exactly does it mean?
Well, the specifications of the motorcycle in the file are the same as the existing Yamaha R15V3. We believe Yamaha might just rename the R15V3 to the R15, and the more expensive colour options will be called the R15S. Apart from the name change, the rest of the motorcycle is expected to remain the same. Interestingly, this is in contrast with the older-generation R15S variant that used to be sold alongside the R15 V2. Back then, the S variant had a single-piece seat for extra practicality.

Another interesting aspect is that the power figure still remains unchanged at 18.62PS. That means, even though it will be positioned below the R15 V4 in terms of pricing, the motorcycle will still be 0.2PS more powerful. That said, the V4, with a peak torque output of 14.2Nm, has a 0.1Nm advantage.
Expect Yamaha to make a formal announcement regarding the new variant in the coming weeks. It will go up against the Hero Xtreme 200S and the Suzuki Gixxer SF.

- Pocket rocketThe only bike in the segment which provides you punchy power and aggressive position it may have some cons still who are above 5.5 height can ride this rocket comfortable. Personally I love riding sports bike and this is seriously a legendary one in the segment also from 200cc segment. I reached upto 153 of speed on a highway which is so much within a 155cc segment.
