    Quick News Highlights:

    • CFLite motorcycles showcased at Makina Moto Expo Philippines

    • Three new bikes launched in South-East Asia and South America

    • More affordable versions of CFMoto bikes

Chinese motorcycle manufacturer CFMoto has officially introduced a new sub-brand called CFLite. It will offer more affordable, smaller displacement motorcycles for emerging markets. The announcement was made at the 2025 Makina Moto Expo in the Philippines. The CFLite range debuted with three new models, based on existing CFMoto bikes.

    Dual 230

The Dual 230 is a dual-sport motorcycle powered by a 223cc, air-cooled, carburetted, single-cylinder engine (output figures unknown). It comes with a 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheel, long-travel suspension, and disc brakes at both ends. It gets a fully-digital LCD console and a halogen light setup all around.

    250NK

Next in the lineup is the CFLite 250NK, a quarter-litre streetfighter and the more budget-friendly version of the CFMoto 250NK - which it shares its underpinnings and engine with. It uses a 249cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that makes 27.35PS and 22Nm.

    250SR

Completing the trio is the CFLite 250SR - it follows a similar formula and is the more affordable version of the CFMoto 250SR. It is a fully-faired sportbike which shares its platform with the CFLite 250NK, but gets clip-on handlebars, and a claimed top speed of over 130kmph.

    BikeDekho Says

Although the CFLite bikes are positioned as the more affordable versions of existing CFMoto bikes, the only difference is the use of an LCD console in place of a TFT display. With these new models, CFMoto is targeting riders who want a more affordable but still sporty and flashy bike - especially in regions where small-displacement motorcycles are more popular. While there is currently no confirmation on whether they will ever launch in India - CFLite’s main focus remains in the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, and parts of South America.
