This e-scooter will not be a new generation of the current Bajaj Chetak. Instead, it is expected to be a more affordable new model that will be positioned lower in the brand’s existing Chetak lineup. With this move, Bajaj aims to strengthen its presence in the mass-market EV segment.

This upcoming Chetak model will be Bajaj’s direct answer to rivals such as TVS Orbiter, and the base variants of the Vida VX2. With the expected price of this new variant ranging between Rs 80,000 and Rs 90,000 (ex-showroom), Bajaj is likely to target buyers who want the trust of an established brand without stretching their budget.
