The manufacturing of the all-new BMW F 450 GS has officially begun at TVS Motor Company’s Hosur plant. This marks an important new phase in the TVS–BMW partnership. The F 450 GS is an important model for BMW’s global lineup, especially in the middle-weight adventure segment. With its all-new platform, updated design and off-road capability, the F 450 GS represents the next generation of BMW’s GS lineup. The baby GS made its global debut at EICMA 2025, earlier this month. TVS taking charge of its production highlights the brand’s growing expertise in building premium, high-precision motorcycles for global markets. That said, the ADV will be launched soon in India, with BMW officially announcing the launch date.
Looking ahead, both TVS and BMW have confirmed that they are working on new platforms and modern technologies to take their cooperation even further. The goal is to bring in advanced, future-ready products for the premium motorcycle space as well as the evolving urban mobility segment. With TVS’ strong manufacturing capabilities and BMW’s engineering direction, the partnership is set to deliver even more exciting models in the coming years, and the new F 450 GS is just the beginning of that next chapter. Although the production started recently, select BMW dealers had already begun unofficial bookings a few weeks back.
Along with this, the two companies also crossed a major milestone of 2 lakh units produced under the partnership. While this milestone is significant, what matters more is how it reflects the steady growth and trust built since the collaboration began in 2013. Together, they’ve already developed the BMW G 310 RR, G 310 GS and G 310 R, bikes that have reached over 100 markets worldwide. Although the G 310 R and G 310 GS have been discontinued in India, they continue to perform well internationally.

It has many features, like multiple riding mods and the trophy version has a ERC that means (easy riding clutch) it is very helpful to the beginners. The handling of the bike is very smooth and it gives around 20 to 24 milage on an average in highways and its seats are so much comfortable and it has a heating grips which helps me in early morning rides. I like to recommend this bike to the proper off-road bikers and they love this very much because of its handling and ERC you can also adjust the suspensions of both side and have a good off-road experience.Read More2

- Excited for the bike to be launchedI am desperately waiting for the bike the headlight looks very interesting. I got chills when I saw the bike's introduction video. the color scheme is perfect. the TFT display makes it look more futuristic. the power output of the bike will be crazy, especially on the trails, I hope the bike has good low-end torque which can help in the trails. although this bike is a big competitor of the Himalayan the BMW F 450 GS will be priced aggressively, at the end of the day it is a BMW.
