As per our dealership sources, the unofficial bookings of the BMW F 450 GS have begun at select showrooms. The booking amount varies from Rs 10,000 and Rs 20,000, depending on the location/dealer. While the deliveries are expected to start by early 2026, BMW Motorrad might just announce the pricing at IBW 2025 (India Bike Week), which is one of the country’s biggest motorcycling events.

The BMW F 450 GS debuted at EICMA 2025, and it instantly became one of the most talked-about unveils at the motorcycle show. Powering the F 450 GS is an all-new 420cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin motor that produces 47.6PS and 43Nm - really healthy figures for a bike of its class. This engine is paired to a 6-speed gearbox, and the top-spec variant also gets BMW’s Easy Ride Clutch (ERC), which automatically engages the clutch and prevents stalling at lower speeds. At 178kg kerb, it is also surprisingly light for an adventure bike, undercutting the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 by 18 kg.

With its mix of performance, premium appeal, and adventure-focused design, it is expected to be priced at around Rs 4.5 lakh (ex-showroom). With the twin-cylinder engine, the F 450 GS will be more premium and powerful than the KTM 390 Adventure and Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, and will compete with the Honda NX 500, Brixton Crossfire 500 Storr, and Benelli TRK 502.

Excited for the bike to be launched
I am desperately waiting for the bike the headlight looks very interesting. I got chills when I saw the bike's introduction video. the color scheme is perfect. the TFT display makes it look more futuristic. the power output of the bike will be crazy, especially on the trails, I hope the bike has good low-end torque which can help in the trails. although this bike is a big competitor of the Himalayan the BMW F 450 GS will be priced aggressively, at the end of the day it is a BMW. At the end of the day I'm just waiting for the bike to be launched and I get to see the bike in person.
