5 Reasons Why The Royal Enfield Bullet 350 Should Be Your Next Bike This Diwali

5 Reasons To Buy Royal Enfield Bullet 350 This Festive Season

Diwali is often the perfect time to bring home an icon, and few motorcycles are as iconic as the Royal Enfield Bullet 350. As the world's longest-running production motorcycle, first launched in India in 1955, its legacy is unmatched. If you're considering this legend, here are five key reasons it deserves your attention.

    The Unmistakable Thump And Legacy

The Bullet is loved everywhere, and much of that comes down to its rugged, no-nonsense character and its unmistakable exhaust note. The new J-series engine keeps that thump but adds a counter-balancer, which takes away much of the shaking that the old Bullet was known for. It is the same beat, just a lot more civilised.

A Refined Engine For Everyday Riding

The heart of the Bullet is the 349cc air-oil-cooled, single-cylinder J-series engine. It produces 20.2PS at 6,100rpm and a healthy 27Nm at just 4,000rpm. Thanks to its long-stroke design , the bike delivers strong low-end pull. This allows it to cruise comfortably in 4th or 5th gear at speeds as low as 30-40kmph without engine knocking. On the highway, its sweet spot is between 80-90kmph, with vibrations only becoming noticeable near 110kmph. It’s also efficient, with tested mileage figures of 41.36kmpl in the city and 37.8kmpl on the highway. With a 13-litre fuel tank, you’re looking at a practical range of over 300km. It's also future-proof, ready to run on E20 petrol.

Plush Ride Quality For Real-World Roads

Built on a twin-downtube cradle frame, the Bullet 350 uses a 41mm telescopic fork and twin preload-adjustable shock absorbers at the rear. This setup is tuned for comfort, easily soaking up potholes and speed breakers on Indian roads. Despite its 195kg kerb weight, it feels planted and stable at 90-100kmph and is surprisingly nimble for city traffic. The 805mm seat height is accessible; a 5’9” rider can comfortably flat-foot the motorcycle, though riders 5’5” or shorter might find it a stretch. The single-piece seat is soft and well-suited for daily commuting, but heavier riders might find it sinks on longer journeys, making the optional Touring Seat a worthy upgrade. While the pillion grab rail is awkwardly placed, an accessory backrest can significantly improve passenger comfort.

    Timeless Design With Improved Quality

    Royal Enfield Bullet 350 Design

The Bullet 350’s design is a masterclass in retaining heritage. A standout feature is the hand-painted gold pinstripes on the fuel tank, available on select colour variants. It’s easy to distinguish from its sibling, the Classic 350, thanks to its single-piece seat, squared-off rear fender, and a simple round headlight without the Classic's hooded peak. Colour options include Military (Black, Red), Standard (Black, Maroon), and the premium Black Gold and Battalion Black. On the other hand, the build quality has seen a big improvement, with tighter panel gaps, tactile switchgear, and richer paint finishes.

    Simple Features And Sensible Variants

    Royal Enfield Bullet 350 Console

The Bullet 350 keeps things simple on purpose. The instrument console is a classic analogue speedometer with a small digital inset showing a fuel gauge, clock, trip meters, gear position, and a service-due indicator. A USB charging port is a practical addition. There are no LED lights, and smartphone connectivity isn't standard. For those who want turn-by-turn directions, the optional Tripper navigation pod can be added to the Standard and Black Gold variants. Safety features differ significantly by variant. The base Military and Battalion Black trims get a rear drum brake with single-channel ABS. For superior braking performance, the Standard (Black or Maroon) and Black Gold variants are the recommended picks, as they come equipped with a rear disc brake and dual-channel ABS.

    BikeDekho Says

The new Bullet 350 is smoother, more refined and far easier to live with than the old one, without losing its old-school charm. If you always liked the idea of a Bullet but thought it too crude, this one is likely to change your mind. It still feels big and heavy next to modern bikes, so it may not convince riders who dislike heavy motorcycles.

The Bullet is unlikely to get a significant update any time soon. If you are thinking of getting one, it might be a good time to buy. Check with your nearest dealers about festive season offers that could sweeten the deal.

So, I have owned this bike for like 3 years now, and no major problem has been there. It works well, looks amazing, and has low maintenance cost, at least for me. But the only thing is that it’s more of a cruiser, so from a speed perspective, it kind of lacks. Overall, a solid choice, just like its name, it’s a Bullet.

      My life my bike
For the looks and its heaviness, it’s a happiness in my life. So good, heavy, stable, and safe bike. Other than those light bikes, its drive is very stable on the roads. If you want high-speed rides, then this bike is also the best option, bro. The ride is soo good, feels stable safe on this bike, maintenance is little costlier than other bikes, but the service and comfort is top notch and high power, and bike is really smooth and comfortable. Person with heavy body and decent hight should buy this bike, because its too heavy and on other hands, I would not recommend this bike to a person with very low income, its feel littel bit costly if your income is not enough to maintain this.

      Royal Enfield
Good for city traffic and once the bike is ridden for 3/4 kms, its more smoother and with rising fuel price, the bike provides a very good mileage compared to its rivals and in long journeys Royal Enfield is much more reliable. This bike never disappoint. Very positive experience. I have been riding it in city traffic and compared to other bikes, this bikes is way more smoother and easy to handle. Good riding posture, good fuel economy, even long rides are fun to have in a Royal Enfield. The bike is reliable and good build quality, good to ride and every one who has ridden one has never regretted and this bikes are like u have one and u can ride them for years without any issues. Nice bike.

      Royal Feel with Bullet 350
Maine Royal Enfield Bullet 350 isliye choose ki kyunki mujhe hamesha se classic bikes pasand rahi hain aur Bullet ka look aur feel alag hi level ka hai. Iska design simple hone ke bawajood bhi kaafi royal aur premium lagta hai. Road par chalate waqt log automatically notice karte hain, jo ek alag hi confidence deta hai. Ab tak ka riding experience kaafi acha raha hai. Bullet 350 chalane ka feel alag hi hota hai, especially jab aap highway par ride karte ho. Engine ka power smooth hai aur bike stable rehti hai even high speed par bhi. Haan, main definitely Royal Enfield Bullet 350 recommend karunga, lekin yeh depend karta hai ki aap kis type ki riding pasand karte ho. Agar aapko classic look, strong road presence aur relaxed riding experience chahiye, to yeh bike perfect hai.
