2026 Bajaj Pulsar 125 Launch Date Is Not August 12: Here's Why
Bajaj’s launch season is expected to start-off with the new Pulsar N160 4V, before the updated Pulsar 125 and 150 join the lineup

The next-generation Bajaj Pulsar 125 has already started reaching dealerships ahead of its official launch. Naturally, many assumed that this would be the motorcycle Bajaj is planning to unveil on August 12 as part of the Pulsar brand’s 25th anniversary celebrations. However, that is not the case. Instead, all signs point towards Bajaj introducing the updated Pulsar N160 4V first, especially after the motorcycle was recently spotted testing in India.
The Teaser Gives It Away

The teaser shared by Bajaj clearly hints that the upcoming motorcycle is the Pulsar N160 4V and not the next-generation Pulsar 125. Several design elements make this quite obvious.
For starters, the bike seen in the teaser gets wider tyres and a belly pan, both of which are absent on the upcoming Bajaj Pulsar 125. The headlamp setup also matches the N-series design, featuring a projector LED headlight flanked by twin LED DRLs. Another giveaway is the subframe-mounted pillion footrest hangers, unlike the integrated setup seen on the new Pulsar 125.
Recent Spy Shots Confirm It

The recently spotted test mule of the updated Bajaj Pulsar N160 4V further strengthens this theory. The camouflaged motorcycle was seen with the same overall proportions and key design details hinted at in the teaser. The test bike also had golden-coloured inverted fork, while other details look exactly similar to the current N160.
Taken together, the teaser and the latest spy shots leave no doubts that Bajaj is preparing to launch the Pulsar N160 4V on August 12.
What Can We Expect?

The biggest update will be the addition of a four-valve cylinder head, which should improve the motorcycle’s overall performance. The brand will also update the paint schemes and graphics of the upcoming bike, to give it a fresher look.
Bajaj is also expected to update the feature list with a new TFT instrument console offering smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation and SMS/call alerts. While the current N160 already gets the connected tech with its LCD console, the TFT display is expected to offer much more premium feel. Along with this, the bike will continue to come with multiple ABS modes.
When Will The New Pulsar 125 Launch?
Although it won’t debut on August 12, the next-generation Pulsar 125 shouldn’t be far away. Since dealership dispatches have already begun, its official launch is expected by the end of August. Bajaj is also likely to introduce the updated Pulsar 150 around the same time, with both motorcycles forming part of the brand’s 25th anniversary celebrations.

reliable daily commuter with great mileageNeeded something dependable for daily city traffic that wouldn't eat up all petrol money. looked at a few other 150cc options but the pulsar 150 just felt like the right balance of price, low maintenance and that classic muscular look that never gets old. Honestly pretty smooth for daily running, engine has nice pickup in lower gears so overtaking in heavy trafffic is easy, getting a solid 45-50 km regularly, only slight downside is minor handle vibes past 85 kmph but for everyday city speeds, its steady and comfortable. Definitely 100 percent recommend it, if you want a reliable everyday bike with decent power and great fuel efficiency, maintenance is super cheap and spare parts are available anywhere. just a solid, no nonsense daily runner that gets the job done.Read More
awesome BikeBig-bike looks: It has the exact same muscular, aggressive styling as the Pulsar 150, making it look premium. Great mileage: It easily delivers 50 to 55 kmpl in daily city traffic, keeping fuel expenses very low, comfortable ride, The seat is soft and spacious, and the upright riding posture prevents back pain during traffic jams. Solid highway stability: unlike lightweight 125cc commuters, its heavier chassis keeps it stable and vibration-free at 70–80 kmph. Low maintenance spare parts are widely available across India and are very affordable compared to rivals.Read More
