TVS Raider 125: Features Explained
From a TFT screen to ride modes: all the tech that makes for a feature-packed bike

The TVS Raider 125 has positioned itself as one of the most feature-rich motorcycles in the 125cc segment. With its sporty styling, peppy engine, and many segment-first features – it targets young riders who want more than just basic daily commute. But beyond performance, the Raider stands out for the sheer number of features it offers. Here’s a closer look at what it brings to the table:
Convenience Features
The TVS Raider 125’s biggest highlight is its instrument cluster. Base and mid variants get a reverse LCD console that shows gear position, fuel efficiency, range, trip meters, and other essential readouts. The top-spec SmartXonnect variant upgrades to a 5-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, offering turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS alerts, ride stats, and even voice assist.

Adding to everyday usability is TVS’ idle start/stop system, which switches off the engine in traffic and restarts it when you pull the clutch in, improving fuel efficiency. The Raider also gets two ride modes: Eco for better mileage, and Power for sharper throttle response. The iGO Assist system provides a mild electric boost while accelerating, a unique feature in this segment.
Practical touches include a USB charging port and a small under-seat storage space under the pillion seat. Lighting duties are handled by a bright LED headlamp with LED DRLs.

Safety Features
On the safety front, the Raider offers a front drum brake only on the base model, while the mid variants have a front disc. The top dual disc versions get a rear disc brake and single-channel ABS – which was a segment-first at the time of launch. The motorcycle also comes with a side-stand engine cut-off system that prevents the bike from moving off with the stand deployed, adding an extra layer of safety during daily use.
BikeDekho Says

It blends everyday practicality with fun performance, making it one of the most well-rounded options in its class.

This can be a good commuter bike in 125cc bike models. E20 facility is also added in this bike. Handling is very good in this bike. I feel so comfortable when i ride on highways. I like rear foot support to provide comfort for pillion rider while having seat. Good mileage bike under 125cc bikes. This is kind of family bike with sporty look. - TVS- RAIDERI choose raider because one of my friend suggested me to buy as this bike is good nice looks and good mileage. The solo seat version of the bike is very good looking like similar to pulsar and it feels very light weight to ride this bike. The ride with the TVS raider was amazing till now, no breaking points were given by this bike, still rides the same smooth and the sound of the filter of this bike is best. The disc provided is also good, breaks tyres, engines, every thing is very good. I would like to recommend this bike to everyone other because of its looks, smooth rides, pretty good disc, nice colours, best engines, nice mileage and more than that the trust on TVS. They have been creating beats like this for very long now.Read More12 9
- My experience with TVS Raider.I wanted a bike with a decent mileage per litre because my work demands inter district commute. And after extensive search I found Raider. I wanted a bike that wasn't too boring for a mileage centred bike and this was my fair bet. Overall ride experience is satisfactory. Braking is bit off, that can be improved but if you're going in a decent speed, it shouldn't be a concern for you but if you're in a rush, it sure will affect you in one way or the other. But didn't have any bad experience till this day. Yeah, I'd recommend this bike but its safe, if you give it a test drive and make sure it's suited according to your needs. You should not feel bad after making the purchase in my opinion. But its a solid choice according to me.Read More39 30
