TVS Raider 125 Variants Explained: Price, Features, Which One To Buy?
The Raider now comes with two new variants: SXC DD and TFT DD, bringing the total count to 7

The tvs raider has recently been updated with two new variants, and this brings the total number of variants to seven. With so many variants on offer, it can be a bit confusing as to which one you should choose. In this explainer we give you a detailed breakdown of the differences among the variants, so you can make a better buying decision.
TVS Raider Drum Variant
Price: 80,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi)
This is the base variant of the TVS Raider 125, and as the name suggests, it comes with a drum brake at the front and rear. It gets a single-piece seat, and comes in two colour schemes: Striking Red and Wicked Black.

Features wise, this variant gets a simple (yet fairly info-packed) LCD console with speed, time, fuel-level, gear position along with trip and odometer readouts. This variant misses out on smartphone connectivity and related features. It is for those riders who are looking for a simple, and rather affordable 125cc variant of the TVS Raider.
TVS Raider Single Seat Variant
Price: 86,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi)
The main difference between this one and the Drum variant is the addition of a disc brake at the front. So it’s for those who are looking for a step-up above the Raider 125 Drum variant. It is offered in the same two colours as the TVS Raider Drum variant.

The bike gets a 240mm front disc, which should provide better braking performance compared to the drum brake. Other than this, it has the same set of features as the Drum variant. In our opinion, the premium of Rs 6,000 is a bit high considering it only gets a front disc and no additional features.
TVS Raider Split Seat Variant
Price: 90,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi)
The TVS Raider Split Seat variant is a slightly sportier option as it gets a neat-looking split seat setup. One of the major advantages the split seat setup has is the small storage space under the pillion seat.

This variant also comes with a lot more features. Apart from the LCD instrument console which displays all the essential readouts it also comes with smartphone connectivity. It has features such as call/SMS alerts, turn-by-turn navigation, along with voice assist. The bike gets the same 240mm front disc as the Single Seat variant.
This variant comes in 5 colours: Racing Red, Wicked Black, Blazing Blue, Forza Blue, and Fiery Yellow. All variants of the TVS Raider mentioned above are powered by the same 124.7cc, air-cooled engine which produces 11.8PS and 11.2Nm.
TVS Raider iGo Variant
Price: 90,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi)
The TVS Raider iGo variant is almost identical to the Split Seat variant, but gets the TVS’ iGo assist system. This system uses the bike’s starter motor as a generator to give a torque boost of 0.55Nm, bumping the torque output to 11.75Nm. The motor essentially assists the engine while accelerating.

This variant is the same as the Split seat when it comes to features and underpinnings. But the main difference is that it is only available in one colour scheme: Nardo Grey. Since this costs as much as the Split Seat Variant, we’d recommend getting this one as it should offer slightly better acceleration thanks to the electric assist.
TVS Raider SSE Variant
Price: 91,600 (ex-showroom, Delhi)
This variant is for those who are big Marvel fans, as it comes in 4 superhero themed colour schemes. There’s Deadpool, Wolverine, Black Panther and Iron Man themes, and we think these colours look quite funky and nice.

Other than these visual changes, this is similar to the iGo variant. For a premium of just Rs 600 over the iGo variant, we think this is a good deal.
TVS Raider SXC DD - Price: Rs 93,800 & TVS Raider TFT DD - Price: Rs 95,600
TVS had recently launched two new variants of the Raider, and both of them feature a lot of changes. The biggest talking point is the addition of single-channel ABS which should improve the overall safety of the bike to a great extent.

We had done a detailed breakdown of all the important features of the Raider 125. If you want a sporty 125cc bike with all the bells and whistles, you may go for the SXC DD variant. If you’re really particular about having a TFT (even though it offers the same set of info as the LCD console in the SXC variant), then go for the TFT DD variant. For better clarity, here's a list of all the existing TVS Raider variant explainers:
- TFT DD Variant
- SXC DD Variant
- SSE Variant
- iGO Variant
- Split Seat Variant
- Single Seat Variant
- Drum Variant
Note that all the variants of the Raider 125 have gotten a lot cheaper than before, thanks to GST 2.0-led price cuts. You can also modify your Raider with useful accessories.

- Good response from the customerI bough this TVS raider in Jan 2026. Till now, i did not face any issues with it. This costs around 1.25 Lakhs including EMI. This can be a good commuter bike in 125cc bike models. E20 facility is also added in this bike. Handling is very good in this bike. I feel so comfortable when i ride on highways. I like rear foot support to provide comfort for pillion rider while having seat. Good mileage bike under 125cc bikes. This is kind of family bike with sporty look. City riding people can prefer this mostly. This is a best mileage bike under 1.25Lakhs. i would recommend to change the colour of ABS channel(red colour) to black.Read More8 10
