BMW C 400 GT: Alternatives For A Similar Price

From a German naked to a Japanese ADV, the list is quite varied

BMW Motorrad recently launched the 2025 C 400 GT in India. The premium maxi-scooter is priced at Rs 11,50,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The scooter is available as a CBU (Completely Built Unit). Here’s what else you can buy for a similar price:

Kawasaki Z900:

The Kawasaki Z900 is a naked-streetfighter from the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer. It is priced at Rs 10,72,000 (ex-showroom) and is offered in two colour schemes. The bike is powered by a 948cc, liquid-cooled, inline-four engine producing 125PS and 98.6Nm and is paired to a six-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch. It is equipped with a lot of rider aids and safety features. The Kawasaki Z900 is one of the most affordable in-line four motorcycles you can buy in India.

Triumph Bonneville Bobber

The Triumph Bonneville Bobber, as the name suggests, is a bobber offering from the British motorcycle manufacturer. It gets a floating single-piece seat, a slash-cut exhaust finished in chrome and a chopped rear fender in true bobber style. It is priced at Rs 12,05,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The British bike is powered by a 1200cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine producing 78PS and 106Nm. 

Honda Transalp XL750

The Honda Transalp XL750 is a dual-sport offering from the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer. The ‘Transalp’ series of bikes has been popular all over the world since the late 80s for their offroad capabilities and gets long travel suspension, a tall windscreen and a sleek tank. The bike is powered by a 755cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine producing 90.5PS and 75Nm. This Japanese ADV is offered with a price tag of Rs 10,99,990 (ex-showroom).

Ducati Scrambler Icon

For the same price of the BMW C 400 GT, you can get an Italian scrambler for Ducati. The Ducati Scrambler Icon comes with a  price tag of Rs 10,91,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi). BMW F 900 XR

The BMW F 900 XR is a sport tourer motorcycle offered by the German manufacturer. The bike combines the touring ability of an ADV while complimenting it with the performance of a naked-streetfighter. The bike is powered by a 895cc, liquid-cooled, in-line twin cylinder engine generating 105PS and 92Nm. The bike comes with a premium price tag of Rs 12,55,000 (ex-showroom).
