Triumph India has launched the 2025 versions of two of its potent streetfighters, the Trident 660 and Speed Triple 1200 RS. The Trident 660 is priced at Rs 8,49,000 and the Speed Triple 1200 RS is priced at Rs 20,39,000 (both prices ex-showroom, Delhi). Here’s an overview on what updates the bikes have received:
Triumph Trident 660
The middle-weight naked bike still retains its design, but now gets three new colour schemes: Blue, Yellow and Red. The bike is now offered with a new Showa BPF (Big Piston Fork) suspension unit at the front, and riding aids such as the bidirectional quickshifter and Bluetooth connectivity are now standard.
The bike also got a new cruise control system making it touring friendly, and a new ‘Sport’ mode has also been added. With all these functional updates, the bike is now Rs 37,000 more expensive than before.

Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS
The more performance oriented machine from Triumph’s stable, the Speed Triple 1200 RS has received a performance upgrade from its redesigned exhaust offering a better flow of exhaust gasses. The bike still retains its 1,160cc, triple-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, but now produces 183PS and 128Nm, 3PS and 3Nm more than the previous iteration.
Apart from this, the bike’s underpinnings too have received an upgrade with the Ohlins EC3 suspension, that is electronically adjustable, and is now standard. It also gets lighter wheels and a steering damper - for better handling and stability. As for the electronics, the bike now gets an independent wheelie control system that lets the engine put down its power better while accelerating hard. Also, the bikes Metzler Racetec tyres are now replaced by the Pirelli Supercorsa V3s. All of these upgrades come with a price hike of Rs 2.44 lakh over the 2024 model.

BikeDekho Says:
The Triumph Trident 660 has been a popular motorcycle in its segment, and now with a lot of equipment offered as standard, it is a much better and well-rounded package. It makes sense for Triumph to offer all these features as standard as we reckon most of the Trident buyers anyway opted for these accessories in the previous generation bike. It’s also high time the bike got navigation as standard as most of the smaller capacity bikes have the feature.
As for the Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS, the updates focus mostly on the handling department, while also offering a small bump in power and torque. The new additions should help the bike be an even more fun motorcycle to ride on the race tracks or on the ghat roads.
