2025 Honda Activa 110: Variants Explained

Honda recently launched a new variant of the Activa 110, called the ‘25-year Anniversary Edition’, in the country. The new variant looks funky with its unique livery, and with this, the Honda Activa 110 is available in four variants: STD, DLX, H-Smart and 25-Year Anniversary Edition.  If you are planning to buy an Activa 110 soon and are quite overwhelmed with what to choose, here’s an overview of what the variants offer:

Standard (STD):

The ‘Standard’ variant of the Honda Activa 110 is priced at Rs 81,045 (all prices are ex-showroom, Delhi). This is the cheapest Honda Activa variant, and as a consequence, it gets only the basic features, like a halogen headlamp and an analogue instrument console which has only the essential bits such as the speedometer, odometer, fuel gauge and telltale lights. This variant of the Honda Activa 110 comes with steel wheels as opposed to alloy wheels on all the other variants. Additionally, the USB-C charging port is an optional accessory on this variant, which is offered as standard on all others. Note that the charging port is located on the front apron, along with an open cubbyhole.

This variant is ideal for those who want a barebones scooter with the peace of mind that the Activa is popular for. It isn’t feature-packed but gets the job done if you want a convenient scooter for urban commutes. Also, the external fuel filler cap and an 18-litre underseat storage are common across all variants, so you’re not really losing out as much when it comes to practicality.

DLX (Deluxe)

The ‘DLX’ variant of the scooter is priced at Rs 91,565. While it sits in the middle of the variant lineup, it gets an LED headlamp and comes with alloy wheels as standard. It has a 4.2-inch TFT instrument console that shows all the essential information about the speedometer, odometer, fuel gauge and telltale lights. Apart from this, the DLX variant has a real-time mileage indicator, average fuel economy indicator, distance to empty, periodic maintenance indicator, and automatically adjustable display light and themes. Mind you, there’s no turn-by-turn navigation in this variant.

That said, the DLX variant is still the most balanced option, and we’d recommend this one for those who want the convenience of a TFT dash and its related features as well as a fairly accessible pricing. This is the most value-for-money variant in our opinion.

25-Year Anniversary Edition

The ‘25-year Anniversary Edition’ of the scooter was recently launched to mark Honda’s 25 years in the Indian market. It is priced at Rs 92,565 (Rs 1,000 more than DLX). This variant of the scooter is essentially the same as the DLX variant but comes with exclusive badging and a livery. It is available in only two colour schemes: Pearl Siren Blue and Mat Steel Black Metallic. Apart from this, the alloys of this variant are golden-coloured - a nice addition to the scooter’s funky character. If you want an Activa that stands apart from the rest, then this is the one to go for. 

H-Smart

The ‘H-Smart’ variant of the Activa 110 is the most feature-loaded one and is priced at Rs 95,567. This variant gets the same 4.2-inch TFT instrument console as the DLX, with the same information, but has additional features like turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS alerts, music controls, weather forecast, and others. It has smartphone connectivity through the Honda RoadSync app. This variant also comes with a smart key fob to remotely lock or unlock the scooter, start the scooter with just the press of a button, find the scooter in a crowded parking area (if you’re within 10 metres), or even auto-lock the scooter once you get off and walk away. 

It’s clear that all these features are focused towards easier city commutes, and this variant will be ideal for those who want a no-compromise, feature-packed 110cc scooter. That said, at around Rs 95,500, this variant is a little too expensive for what it offers, especially when you consider rivals from other brands offer so much more at this price point. Honda could’ve offered a bigger underseat storage, at least on this variant. 

Also note that all variants get a silent starter with start-stop tech that helps in improving mileage in traffic-riddled roads. It switches off the scooter’s engine when it idles in traffic for a while and turns it back on with just the twist of the throttle. This helps in conserving fuel while waiting at traffic signals. Also, all the variants except for the Anniversary Edition come in six colour schemes: Decent Blue Metallic, Mat Axis Grey Metallic, Pearl Igneous Black, Pearl Precious White, Pearl Siren Blue, and Rebel Red Metallic.
