2022 Yamaha FZS 25 Details Leak Ahead Of Launch

The 2022 update brings new colour schemes for the FZS 25, plus a small price hike is expected

The 2022 update brings new colour schemes for the FZS 25, plus a small price hike is expected

  • The 2022 Yamaha FZS 25 comes in new Matte Copper and Matte Black colour schemes.
  • No new colours for the FZ 25.
  • No mechanical changes made either.

Details of the 2022 Yamaha FZS 25 have surfaced online ahead of its official launch. For this update, Yamaha has given the quarter litre naked two new colour schemes.

The 2022 Yamaha FZS 25 reportedly comes in new Matte Copper and Matte Black color schemes. The former will catch your attention, and the latter, as its name suggests, looks stealthy. Both bikes get alloys finished in gold. The standard Yamaha FZ 25 will continue to be available in Metallic Black and Racing Blue. The MotoGP Monster Energy Edition will also be available in this iteration.

Expect Yamaha to hike the prices of the 2022 model by a nominal premium. Currently, the FZS 25 retails at Rs 1,41,300 and the FZ 25 at Rs 1,38,800 (both, ex-showroom Delhi).

Other than the colour schemes, the rest of the motorcycle remains unchanged. The FZS 25 comes with knuckle guards and a fly screen for slightly more touring comfort. Both variants feature LED headlight and tail lamps, bulb indicators, a fully digital instrument cluster with real-time mileage indicator, and dual-channel ABS as standard. The two motorcycles are powered by a 20.8PS/20.1Nm 249cc air-oil-cooled single-cylinder engine with 5-speed transmission.

Expect Yamaha to launch the bike in the coming days. The updated iteration will go up against the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, Bajaj Pulsar N250, Bajaj Pulsar F250, and the KTM 250 Duke.

Shoud you buy FZs 250 or not

I liked the styling and in that price point it is a good choice considering overall performance. In city the torque of the bike feels so good the acceleration is superb and its very underrated machine. The rides are good but when it comes to comfort the handle bar is wider to you have to make your arms wider and the seat cushion is stiffer. The only thing I like about this bike is the torque nature. It accelerates quickly and overtaking becomes easy. The brakes are decent enough but not the greatest. No, I would not recommend this bike as many other options are also available because the issue in its battery was a very bad experience for me. The battery of the bike was damaged and the bike suddenly stopped many times and this is the problem many users are facing yes, if you are considering a bike under 2lakhs 250cc go for it. Read More

Yamaha fz25

Yamaha FZ25 is a very good motorcycle manufactured by the company. It has a 250cc single cylinder air cooled engine which produces 20 nm bhp and 20 nm torque , which feels much better than other vehicles in the segment it only lacks with the sixth gear. Maintenance of this vehicle is pretty much affordable. Its mileage is 35-40kmpl on highway and 32-36kmpl in city Read More

Yamaha FZS 25 with eye catching looks

The Yamaha FZS 25's outstanding performance and eye-catching appearance convinced me to buy one. One particularly memorable adventure was a solo drive to a seaside town. Strong engine and cozy ergonomics of the FZS 25 made the lengthy trip pleasurable. Riding the coastal routes with the magnificent vistas and sea breeze was a freeing experience. Stability and agile handling of the bike guaranteed an enjoyable and safe ride. This trip confirmed how much I enjoy the FZS 25, a bike that makes every ride an adventure by fusing comfort, power, and styleRead More
