Spy shots of the 2023 Husqvarna Svartpilen 125 have surfaced online.
Husqvarna took the wraps off the Svartpilen 125 for the European market in February 2021 . It’s based on the KTM 125 Duke and is positioned as an entry-level bike.
From a design standpoint, the bike looks almost identical to the Svartpilen 250. It features LED lights all around, a fully digital console, a tank rack, and a 9. 5-litre fuel tank. The only difference are the spoked wheels with knobbier Pirelli tyres and a side-mounted exhaust.
Powering the bike is a Euro 5/ BS6-compliant 125cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor that makes 15PS and 12Nm of peak torque, mated to a six-speed transmission. In terms of hardware, the Svartpilen 125 uses an upside-down fork, a monoshock, and disc brakes at both ends. Single-channel ABS is offered standard. The bike weighs in at 146kg dry.
When launched, the Svartpilen 125 will compete against the KTM 125 Duke, Yamaha MT-15, Bajaj Pulsar NS200, and the Ather 450X.
