Honda Motorcycle India launched the limited edition version of the CB Shine in India to celebrate 70 lakh unit sales of the model. It's available in two variants - disc and drum - priced at Rs 59,083 and Rs 63,743, respectively. That's a minor price hike of Rs 300 over the standard variants. The limited edition Honda CB Shine features new graphics on the side panels and fuel tank paired with a colour coded grab rail. It's available in two shades - Black with Imperial Red Metallic and Black with Spear Silver Metallic. Besides this, the bike remains mechanically unchanged.
It's powered by 124.73cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that churns out 10.3PS at 7500rpm and 10.3Nm at 5500rpm. The motor comes mated to a 4-speed gearbox.
Suspension duties are handled by conventional telescopic forks and a twin shock setup at the rear. Its braking setup comprises of 130mm drum brakes at both ends for the base variant and a 240mm disc, 130mm rear drum unit for the top-spec variant. Combined Braking System is offered as standard on both limited edition models and as options on the standard variant.
The standard Honda CB Shine is offered in two variants - drum and disc without CBS - priced at Rs 58,097 and Rs 60,410, respectively. As for the CBS-equipped models, the drum version retails at Rs 58,783 while the disc variant costs Rs 63,443. The Honda CB Shine Limited Edition goes up against the Bajaj Discover 125, TVS Victor, Yamaha Saluto 125 and Hero Glamour.
