Honda Shine 125 Price:

The BS6 Honda Shine has received a price hike of Rs 563, which means the base variant now costs Rs 68,812 while the front disc option of the Shine 125 will set you back Rs 73,512. The new prices are roughly Rs 8,800 more than the outgoing Honda CB Shine 125. All prices, ex-showroom Delhi.

Honda Shine 125 Features:

The Honda Shine 125 looks identical to its predecessor, the Honda CB Shine 125. Honda wants to keep that familiarity of the Shine motorcycle. It does miss out on modern touches like a LED headlight or a full digital console. The instrumentation is pretty basic with a twin pod cluster showing minimal info like speed, odo and fuel gauge. The Shine BS6 finally gets an engine kill switch, something which was absent on the Honda CB Shine.

Honda Shine 125 Engine:

Honda has developed an all new BS6 motor for the Shine 125. The bike shares the 124cc single-cylinder air-cooled fuel-injected engine with the newly launched SP 125, pumping out 10.7PS and 11Nm. Power and torque have seen a minor bump up of 0.4PS and 0.5Nm from the old carb mill found on the CB Shine 125. This engine gets Honda’s ACG (alternator current generator) silent starter option as well as a 5-speed gearbox.

Honda Shine 125 Suspension & Brakes:

The Shine 125 makes use of the same diamond chassis as the older bike as well as the same suspension units: a telescopic fork and twin preload-adjustable shocks. You can either opt for a 240mm disc or a 130mm drum brake for the front while a 130mm drum unit and CBS is common on both trims.
