Owning Review of Jupiter Grande
Owning Review of Jupiter Grande
When considering scooters there are two trusted brands nowadays which offer value for money scooters in the two-wheeler market. One is TVS motors and the other one is Honda. While going for the Jupiter of TVS motors, these are some points which you can consider while making a mindset.
Starting from the design of the scooter, Jupiter holds an eye-catching approach to the buyers and has a decent amount of road presence. There is an adequate amount of power in the scooter to tackle out every kind of road hurdle in the city. If you go by papers then the Jupiter holds 7.99 ps of power which is good enough for the city talking about the top speed, by my experience the scooter goes up to 85 Km/h easily and in some favourable wind scenario can touch 90 km/h also but with a pillion it goes around 80 (if you want to read all the specs. Then check the site). Talking about the mileage if you handle the scooter with a decent amount of care then it can easily give up to 38-43 km per litre which is up to your driving style and condition of the scooter. Seat height is favourable for both girls and boys also of height 5 feet 1 inch to 6 feet. The riding posture is slightly forward so you have to bend your back a little but that does not affect anything. Talking about the space, Jupiter has a huge amount of space in it so if you are taking delivery of monthly grocery that’ll not have an issue for you. Talking about durability it comes with a rock solid engine and body (the majority of parts are made up of metal). And can be a reliable two-wheeler on sort of long ride also people have gone even Delhi to Ladakh on this scooter and had not faced even a single problem (can check on Google and Youtube also). Talking about the ride quality, the scooter runs smooth and can absorb small potholes easily but not the large one, because of decent ground clearance it can cross over those creepy speed breakers also. The scooter holds a good breaking power thanks to disk brakes and even the drum varients have great breaking capability. Talking about the service cost, it is very pocket-friendly, but only if you drive like a sensible driver not like a maniac on the road. On every service, it costs around 550-900 depending on your choice of engine oil (excluding major repairing).
There are also some cons of the Jupiter scooter also, which are; the scooter has a petrol tank of 5 litres so if you are planning for a day/night out trip then you have to look for petrol pump after a while. The company provided headlamps are not sufficient for a low light night and you have to change the bulb with aftermarket bulb. Apart from that, the scooter gives a pleasant and pocket-friendly driving experience.
