Yamaha XSR155 Accessories Price List Revealed

You can modify your Yamaha XSR155 either into a scrambler or a cafe racer for under Rs 15,000!

Yamaha recently launched the long awaited XSR155 in India at a price of Rs 1,49,990 (introductory ex-showroom Delhi), deliveries of the bike have begun, and bookings start at a token amount of Rs 2,000. This retro-modern roadster looks quite stunning with its minimalistic, yet appealing design. If you’re planning to purchase it, check out our Ultimate Buying Guide. And here's how much it will cost if you were to buy it on EMI. If you want to make your XSR look a whole lot different, then you can opt for one of the two customisation kits available for the bike, called the Cafe Racer Kit and the Scrambler Kit. Here is a complete breakdown of all the accessories, including their prices:

Cafe Racer Kit

Accessories

Price

Cafe Racer Kit

Rs 11,915

Headlight Cowl

Rs 8,980

Seat

Rs 6,640

Side Panels

Rs 2,890

Total Cost (if bought separately)

Rs 18,510

The Yamaha XSR155 gets converted into a sleek looking cafe racer style motorcycle with this custom kit. There is a headlight cowl finished in matte black, along with a smoked visor. The kit also comes with a custom seat with diamond stitching and a hump at the back which makes it look more like a seat cowl. This one seems  to be designed for the rider only, so the pillion comfort may not be as good as the standard seat, which is a bit roomier.

This kit also offers premium silver coloured side panels, complementing the overall design quite well. While this is a fantastic kit to make the XSR155 look a lot sportier, we really wish it came with a set of lower clip-on handlebars to complete the look. We also wish it came with bar-end mirrors as that would’ve really made the kit a whole lot cooler. As far as the colours go, we feel this kit will go quite well with Metallic Blue and Metallic Grey shade.

Scrambler Kit

Accessories

Price

Full Scrambler Kit

Rs 12,330

Headlight Guard

Rs 3,610

Fly Screen

Rs 3,290

Bar-end Mirrors

Rs 3,080

Side Number Plate Panels

Rs 4,320

Seat Cover

Rs 480

Total Cost (if bought separately)

Rs 14,780

The Scrambler Kit makes the XSR155 look quite rugged, especially with the headlight guard, flyscreen and side race number plate panels. For some reason, Yamaha chose to give this kit bar-end mirrors, which in our opinion, should’ve been on the cafe racer kit instead. It also gets a seat cover with diamond stitching (the seat is still the stock one).

While this kit makes the bike look the part of a scrambler, we’d have liked it better if it also included a set of block-pattern tyres. Afterall, the Indonesian-spec XSR155 comes with block-pattern tyres as standard. In our opinion, the Vivid Red and Greenish Grey paint schemes will look the best with this kit.

Both of these custom kits cost a lot less when bought along with the bike, as a whole package. If the accessories are bought separately, then the total cost goes up significantly.

Other Accessories

Price

Crash Guard

Rs 2,915

Adjustable Levers

Rs 2,720

Tail Tidy

Rs 5,620

Knee Pads

Rs 400

Radiator Guard

Rs 430

Screen Guard

Rs 200

Tank Pad

Rs 220

Phone Mount

Rs 2,100

Phone Mount

 (with water resistant enclosure )

Rs 1,900

Along with these custom kits, Yamaha also offers some additional accessories for the XSR155, some of which can also be bought online from Amazon. There are adjustable levers, a tail tidy, knee pads and radiator guard. The adjustable lever makes it convenient to adjust the lever action as per your hand size, and the radiator guard is super useful in keeping the debris from damaging the radiator. The knee pads provide extra grip while holding on to the fuel tank with your knees for better control, and the tail tidy simply makes the tail look a lot sportier and cleaner.

The screen guard should keep the console away from scratches. While the XSR155 doesn’t come with turn-by-turn navigation, a simple solution is to simply buy the phone mount. The one with the enclosure is great for monsoon but it may trap the phone’s heat when used on sunny days, so it’s best to be used only on monsoons. Otherwise, the open-type phone mount should suffice.

Apart from the XSR155, Yamaha also launched the FZ-Rave, and even unveiled not one but two electric scooters for the Indian market.

I can play with this bike and this is really awesome for cruising or for racing because it has high performance gears and stability of the bike is awesome. I will recommend this to buy because I get sufficient mileage for city rides and if I want to go to highway, I can get around 36 to 37 which is really nice for long tours and rides. Most Underrated Bike

Wanted a low cc but stylish and retro motorcycle and here XSR became by my favourite. It can be easily maneuver in city traffics so that you don't have to be struggle to drive. Light weight as well. Gets you great mileage of around 45 plus. The riding posture is aggressive and yes, you can feel the ride and that's what actually matters. The seat is quite hard but instead of replacing it you can have a s seat cover of 400 rupees which would make it but softer. If you want entry level retro bike or kind of new into riding culture have it, feel it and then eventually according to your needs upgrade. It is stylish, you stop at red signal, people stop and ask about the bike. Most underrated bike you can say. Read More

XSR 155 in India review

Engine reliability is very good, reviews from the international audience suggests, the neo retro design looks damn good on roads. I've got so many compliments over the looks. Performance is insane too. The ride can be difficult to get used to at first but it gets better with time. The engine is super powerful and vibrations are very less. You can feel the power as you drive. The bike is pretty light and agile. And as you rev beyond 7k RPM, the VVA kicks in and the experience just get drastically better. I highly recommend this bike. Comfort might be one of the problems at the start but it gets better over time. Also, the customisation options are insane. You can just tune it to how you want it. Possibilities are endless.
