Yamaha R7 Spotted At Chennai Race Track Ahead Of Launch
This further goes on to confirm the imminent launch of the bike here from the Japanese manufacturer

We’ve known for some time that Yamaha is planning to bring its lineup of big bikes to India soon. And to further fuel up the excitement surrounding the upcoming Yamaha bike launches, the Yamaha R7 was spotted at Madras Motor Race Track (also known as Madras International Circuit), Chennai recently.
The R7 was spotted at the race track after it was displayed at a dealer event in April 2023. Other motorcycles spotted at that event include the R3, MT-03, MT-07 and the MT-09. The R7, when it comes to India, will be the flagship product of Yamaha’s India lineup. All these bikes will likely be launched later this year or early next year depending on the model. As revealed in an interview with Yamaha Motor India chairman Eishin Chihana, these motorcycles will first be introduced in small batches. They will most likely be brought in via the CBU route.
The Yamaha R7 is powered by a 689cc twin-cylinder engine producing 73.4PS and 67Nm. We expect it to be priced around the Rs 9 lakh mark (ex-showroom). And being very optimistic, we expect the R7 to be launched around Diwali, possibly in November 2023.
