A closer look at the Marvel-themed edition of the FZ 25
After TVS’ NTorq 125 SuperSquad Edition, Marvel Entertainment has teamed up with Yamaha Brazil to bring the FZ 25 (Fazer 250 in Brazil) clad in superhero liveries. The bikes are priced at BRL 18,090 which translates to Rs 2.45 lakh, a hike of Rs 8,000 over the standard model. Here’s a closer look at what the Indian buyers are missing out.
Though the brand had showcased the FZ 25 in multiple superhero-inspired liveries like Iron Man, Spider Man and Thor, Yamaha has only launched the bike in Captain Marvel and Black Panther-inspired liveries.
The Captain Marvel livery is a headturner, thanks to its navy blue paint job and a contrasting red and yellow graphics, mimicking the Kree warrior’s suit.
Just like the superhero’s suit, the bike gets the Star of Hala on the faux vents on either side of the tank. The headlight cluster is painted red and gets a tiny Avengers logo on its sides.
The side panels flaunt the Marvel logo alongside the Yamaha branding, depicting the first collaboration between the Japanese brand and the entertainment company.
Completing the look are the bright red rim stickers on the glossy black alloy wheels.
The Black Panther Edition of the FZ 25 is all about stealth. The glossy black paint scheme, coupled with the matte black bits, go well with late Chadwick Boseman’s character. To mimic the superhero’s suit’s ability to store and use kinetic energy, the bike gets purple accents on the tank shrouds and even the headlight cluster.

I have this bike from 2018 and no problem faced till date. Maintenance is cheap, no matter how long you have not started the bike, still it starts in one self. Only draw back is now, I don't get parts and it doesn't have abs feature. I have driven 2500 km in a row with ease and no problem faced. Tubeless tyres. Read More

Reliability was the primary reason as Yamaha Engines are very Reliable. The Maintenance is pocket friendly and the bike has minimum Electronics. The Bike offers amazing mileage which is higher than any other 250cc bike. The Bike is always Smooth to ride even after 7 years. Maintenance has always been basic apart from the replacement of a few wear and rear parts which were mechanical and not very costly. The spare parts availability also was good enough for Yamaha genuine spare parts. This is the most user friendly motorcycle in the 250cc segment. The power output may appear less on paper but the power to weight Ratio is superb which makes this bike easy to manage in traffic and also to control on ghats. The bike always stands out in terms of looks.Read More
