The past couple of weeks have been quite exciting for two-wheeler enthusiasts. The economy seems to be recovering and so is the Indian two-wheeler market. This week brings more exciting news. We’ve witnessed several launches and received inside information on CFMoto’s plans for India as well as Suzuki’s intentions of bringing the 2021 Busa to India. Kawasaki Ninja 300 Launch
The wait is finally over. The BS6 Ninja 300 is here, unfortunately, it’s not all good news. The bike comes in some fresh new colours, but that’s about it. No hint of any cosmetic, feature or mechanical update apart from, of course, a BS6-compliant engine. The worst part: it costs Rs 20,000 more. Hayabusa India Launch Confirmed
Yes, it’s true! Suzuki has confirmed the launch of the 2021 Hayabusa for India by teasing the bike via social media. It’s expected to be priced around Rs 18 lakh to Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom) since it'll be imported via the CBU route initially. The India-spec Busa will see a couple of alterations, though, to comply with Indian laws. This may include the much-despised saree guard, a front-mounted number plate holder, and rear-view mirror-integrated turn indicators. Just how different is the 2021 Busa from the previous-gen model? CFMoto Launches
Our sources suggest CFMoto has huge plans for the Indian market. This involves launching one new model every eight months. It has already launched the BS6 300NK in India at a competitive price tag and intends to follow up with the sportier full-faired 300SR. Here’s what you could expect from the bike.
TVS Apache RTR 200 4V And Star City Plus
TVS is known for its expertise on the track, some of which trickles down to its road-going products. The recently launched 2021 RTR 200 4V is a perfect representation of this. That said, it’s still a bit on the expensive side for some, so TVS decided to offer a cheaper single-channel ABS alternative. It brings down the price by Rs 5,000 but retains all the essential goodies. Check it out here.

Bajaj Platina 100 ES and Platina 110 ABS Launch
Bajaj has launched the Platina 100 with an electric start, making it the most affordable bike to get one. It followed this up with the launch of the Platina 110 which gets single-channel ABS, making it the first 110cc bike in India to come with ABS as standard. But that’s not all, the Platina 110 ABS also gets a new rearview mirror design for improved visibility and a set of handguards for enhanced safety.

I chose Ninja 300 for its performance, strong top-end power as I was about passionate about riding. Its good beginner- friendly and revs without being jerky. Has comfortable ergonomics and is a balanced bike with reliability. So far engine was smooth and linear. Sporty but not aggressive and power is usable for city and highways. Longer rider are somewhat comfortable and is stable. Display and techs are basic and is slightly heavy. Braking could be sharper to some extent. Yes, I would recommend Ninja 300 for smooth, reliable and well-balanced to ride easily and still have fun on rides. I choose this bike mainly because of its smooth engine and highway comfort. It feels very stable at high speed and gives confidence while riding. Looks are sporty and premium which I liked. In city suspension feels little stiff but I was ok with that compromise. Ride experience is mostly positive. On highways it feels planted and smooth even at higher speed. Handling is very good and cornering feels safe. Mileage is decent not too low not too high. In city traffic and bad roads you feel bumps little more. Yes I will recommend this bike to people who love riding on highways and enjoy sporty riding style. It is not for someone who want soft suspension or only daily city use.
