TVS NTorq 125 XT: Same Price, Other Options

Instead of splurging Rs 1.02 lakh on the 125cc scooter, you could consider these six options

Instead of splurging Rs 1.02 lakh on the 125cc scooter, you could consider these six options

Earlier this month, TVS launched the top-of-the-line variant of the NTorq 125, called the NTorq 125 XT, at Rs 1,02,823 (ex-showroom Delhi). Now, this variant is Rs 13,612 costlier than the Race XP variant. So do you really want to spend all that money for features and settle for less performance than the Race XP? Can’t make up your mind? Well, here are six alternatives to the TVS NTorq 125 XT in a similar price range.

Bajaj Pulsar NS 125: Rs 1,03,206

The baby NS doesn’t match the TVS scooter in terms of features, but it will swoon with its performance. Its 124.45cc engine belts out 11.9PS and 11Nm, which is almost 3PS and 1.8Nm more than the NTorq. In fact, the Pulsar NS 125 offers better performance than the Yamaha FZ-X that packs a 149cc engine.

Bajaj Pulsar 150: Rs 1,03,731

After all, there’s no replacement for engine displacement, right? For less than Rs 1,000 over the NTorq XT, you can get yourself a bike that produces almost 5PS and 3Nm more. And to complement that engine is a tried-and-tested chassis. Besides, the 15-litre fuel tank should ensure good range as well.

Honda Unicorn: Rs 1,02,533

And when we are talking of a tried-and-tested formula, you can’t go wrong with the Honda Unicorn. Its engine, producing 13PS and 14Nm, may not be the most powerful in the segment, but what it offers is refinement. And that, for an everyday hustler is a must-have.

TVS Raider: Rs 85,469

Want something that stands out in the crowd and is easy on the pockets too? Well, the NTorq’s geared cousin should be right up your alley. The Raider’s 124.8cc engine has character, and almost feels like a 150cc motorcycle. Then there are features like the segment-first ride modes (even the XT doesn’t get this), an underseat storage with USB charger and all of that while saving over Rs 17,000!

Ola S1: Rs 85,099

But if it’s features that you are after, the Ola S1 is packed to the gills. The touchscreen console has different display modes, smartphone connectivity and even navigation. Furthermore, things like reverse mode make parking maneuverability even easier and make the Ola S1 all the more tempting. To top that off is its low running cost.

TVS iQube Electric: Rs 1,00,777

And if reliability and availability are your concerns with the Ola S1, the TVS iQube Electric is worth a look. The e-scooter is loaded with features including turn-by-turn navigation. Also, the fact that it is electric cuts down on the ownership costs.

This is a powerful model and very strong

I chose this bike because it offers smooth highway performance, great mileage, friendly, comfort and stylish looks, despite having slightly stiff suspension for city rides and its very easy to drive. Comfort handling, the seats are well cushioned for long trips and the suspension handles bumps smoothly steering is light in the city and plants firmly at high speed and it's very good and its safety is really nice. This is bike is very powerful and strong and mileage is really good, it's very smooth to drive, perfect and excellent suspension, and this bike quality is awesome, Its safety is really great., i would recommend to everyone.Read More

NTORQ 125 Review

Sporty and stylish looking scooter. The scooter provides comfort for long distance travels. The quick acceleration is also a key factor. Best scooter in this price range with 125cc and disc brake and bluetooth feature. Positives include the price mainly, then there are the looks, about how sporty it looks. Having bluetooth at the price range is a steal. usually, base models scooters in this price range doesn't offer disc brake, they are usually drum brakes which is not the case here. Yes, I would absolutely love to recommend this scooter with anybody. The bluetooth disc brakes and price range will be the main reason for it. Also, TVS provides great service. These are the reasons for my recommendation.Read More

Awesome to ride

Purchased the scooty in feb 2026 and so far have driven nearly 3500 kms. The scooty is awesome to ride, easy to handle, and easy to maintain. One can expect mileage of 40-41 kmpl in city. Seat and suspension is on a stiffer side but one can get aftermarket foam seats to make the rides comfortable. Awesome ride for daily commute.Read More
