Top 5 Best Selling TVS Two-Wheelers In FY 2024-25
A moped outsells the whole Apache range!

The Society Of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) recently released their sales data for the previous financial year. Here’s a list of top 5 best selling TVS two-wheelers from FY 2024-25:
TVS Jupiter Range
The TVS Jupiter Range has been quite popular and has two scooters in its line-up: the Jupiter 110 and the Jupiter 125. The TVS Jupiters have been taking on the scooter market head-on and have sold 11,07,285 units in the last financial year. That’s a commendable feat with a significant increase of 31.06% in the Year-On-Year (YoY) sales as compared to the sales from the financial year 2023-24.
TVS launched the newest generation of the Jupiter 110 in India last year. The update has really worked for the TVS Jupiter with its popularity increasing day-by-day. This is largely due to its excellent mileage, elegant design, modern features, and the massive practicality it offers with its 33-litre boot.

TVS XL
TVS sold 5,01,813 units of the moped in the FY2024-25, a 4.15% growth in sales when compared to the previous financial year. The TVS XL has been a workhorse for the working class of India for a long time. The moped is quite popular for its good payload capacity, excellent storage and has a quite affordable price tag that starts at Rs 46,354 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

TVS Apache Range
The sub-200cc Apache series has four bikes in its lineup: RTR 160, RTR 160 4V, RTR 180 and RTR 200 4V. The Apache series has always appealed to a more enthusiastic and younger generation of buyers with its peppy performance, innovative features and sporty looks. The range has shown a consistent growth of 18.02% in the FY 2024-25 with 4,46,218 units sold.

TVS Raider 125
The TVS Raider 125 is one of the best-selling 125cc sporty commuter bikes in IndiaThe Raider 125 has a great balance of excellent mileage, peppy performance, and is comfortable enough to do city commute with ease.
TVS has sold 3,99,819 units this year. That’s a 16.43% drop in sales from the previous year. TVS might be able to improve sales if they were to give it a makeover with safety features like ABS, even single-channel should do the job.

TVS NTorq 125
The TVS Ntorq 125 has been the go-to option when considering a 125cc sporty scooter in the Indian market. With its punchy engine, characterful exhaust note, flashy colour schemes and an aggressive design, it has garnered attention of the Indian youth quite easily.
The NTorq 125 has been popular for quite some time now but the sales have been almost stagnant. TVS has sold 3,34,414 units in the FY 2024-25. That’s a growth of just 0.7% in sales as compared to the previous financial year.

Best Bike in the 125 cc SegmentAs a mechanical engineer, I chose this bike for its sporty look, strong torque in the 125 cc segment, and comfortable posture for long rides. It also offers good features, a 14V battery, and bright headlights that provide better visibility at night compared to many other bikes. My TVS Raider 125 iGO gives around 75 Kmpl on highways when ridden at 0 to 60 Kmph and about 70 Kmpl above 60 Kmph. In city conditions like Dhule I get around 65 to 70 Kmpl. It also has great pickup strong torque for a 125 cc bike and a comfortable riding posture. Overall I am very happy with its performance. I absolutely love this bike and would recommend it to anyone looking for good looks comfort torque power and useful features in the 125 cc segment. As a mechanical engineer I appreciate its sporty design comfortable posture for long rides strong performance and bright headlight for better night visibility. Overall it offers a great balance of style efficiency and riding comfort.Read More
Great Performance and Handling but City Mileage CoI chose the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V TFT USD model mainly for its sporty design, features and strong road presence. The bike feels very stable on highways and comfortable for daily city rides. Handling is sharp and confidence inspiring. It is also good for family usage when riding normally. Overall the build quality, braking and features like TFT display make the bike feel premium in this segment. Ride quality so far has been very good. The Apache RTR 160 4V TFT USD has excellent handling and stability. In highways the bike feels planted and smooth even at higher speeds. Braking performance and suspension are also good for most road conditions. But the biggest downside for me is the city mileage. In city I am getting around 28 to 32 kmpl, which is lower than expected for a 160cc bike. If someone wants good performance, sporty design, great handling and modern features, the Apache RTR 160 4V TFT USD is a very good choice. However mileage is the only reason I hesitate to recommend it to everyone. Competitors like Pulsar N160 give better mileage in city conditions. So if mileage is your main priority you may consider other options, but apart from that the bike is really enjoyable to ride.Read More

Comfortable running but very poor milageI chose this bike as I used activa for 15 years I wanted change. Having considered other references form friends I purchased this. I got delivery on right time and right colour and model. I wanted to purchase 125 cc but looking the looks and style I purchased 113 cc Ride is no doubt very smooth and comfortable but biggest con is the mileage. The company claims about its mileage appears to me completely false. Even after first service this bike is giving only 33 average while my previous bike after 14 years was giving 32 mileage. Some times i regret purchasing it. The other thing is its fuel tank which is under foot rest you do not get any idea about the petrol left while running on reserve. Range function on dashboard does not give proper information. At one time this shows 40kms to be run in reserve immediately thereafter it shows 0 and after running 20 kms further it starts blinking you do not get any idea how much it will run further to exhaust petrol to works out exact mileage. I will recommend bike only to customers who have small use of bike. For the people whose uses is higher should not go for it because of its mileage. You can purchase it for smooth and comfortable ride but not for mileage.Read More
