Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan Does Daredevil Stunts On This Yamaha Dirt Bike: Watch Video
The action movie will hit theatres on January 25
The trailer of Shah Rukh Khan latest starrer ‘Pathaan’ shows quite an action-packed outing for the veteran actor. We see SRK’s eponymous lead piloting a range of vehicles, from a helicopter to even a powered glider, in many exotic locales. But what really caught our attention was the shot of SRK pursuing villain John Abraham over a frozen lake, with both the riders on Yamaha WR155R bikes.
But that isn’t the only time the Yamaha bike makes an appearance in the trailer, with another shot (perhaps from the same sequence, considering the snowy landscape) showing the protagonist jumping the WR155R over a military SUV, to drop a bomb into the SUV’s open roof hatch.
The Yamaha WR155R is essentially the off-road iteration in Yamaha’s 155cc platform, seen in India powering the R15 V4 supersport, MT-15 V2 streetbike and even the Aerox 155 sports scooter. But though the engine size is the same, the WR155R makes 16.4PS (2PS less) and 14.3Nm (0.1Nm less) than the R15 and MT-15. And yet, considering its featherweight 134kg kerb weight – 8kg less than the R15, 5kg less than the MT – the WR155R would be quite a whiz off-tarmac, considering its long-travel suspension, and 21-inch (front) and 18-inch (rear) spoke wheel setup.

This bike is very good while daily riding is the main factor as the mileage is very good like 43 kmpl in city traffic and the maintenance cost is very low if you ride the bike properly. Also the road presence particularly of this edition is great. If you wish to look good while getting an optimum performance then you can definitely go for it. I had a brother who likes riding this old r15 and I was small and didn't knew any super bikes at all, and this was my first super bike which had all sharpnes at edges, the colour, the speed, it had some personality. Its been amazing bike so far, smooth, light weight. Its top speed is pretty good. It gives good mileage. It is very nice for long rides. Performance of the bike is so good. Suspensions works very well on road. Yes, for sure but take my opinion and explore different bike, It may have something that this bike wouldn't have that charm but you can go for it, if you want sporty look and a good racing bike.
