Royal Enfield Scram Spotted Without Camouflage

The bike appears to be production-ready, hinting at an imminent launch

The bike appears to be production-ready, hinting at an imminent launch

The Royal Enfield Scram has been spotted testing again sans camouflage. The test mule appears to be production-ready and the differences from the Himalayan are even more evident this time around.

The RE Scram gets a new headlight mount, no windscreen, a smaller 19-inch wheel and a single-piece tubular grab rail. While the 411cc motor is expected to see no changes, the Scram could be livelier than the Himalayan thanks to its lower kerb weight.

Even the suspension setup, braking hardware and frame will see no alterations. However, its ground clearance seems to have taken a hit.

With an expected asking price of Rs 1.95 lakh (ex-showroom), the Scram will be about Rs 15,000 more affordable than the Royal Enfield Himalayan. So, potential Himalayan buyers get a more budget-friendly alternative with just a bit less off-road capability.

Comfortable, Stylish And Best in the business

I have been using it from last 2 years and almost drove 12000+ kms. I am very satisfied with the performance. The color, mileage, safety everything is as expected! I have driven it in cities as well as in highways but I never faced any issues! Only thing is that you have to be tall to drive this bike.Read More

Overall experience is good

Overall experience is good the brakes are really nice the comfort is good........ But as compared to the touring session after 300 km you should take break and also give rest to the engine as well so the tyres.......... And also the stock tyres were fantastic..but to say the servicing is quite expensive.Read More

Scrambler Royal Enfield

Best scrambler in this segment. Best style best looks and comfortable riding posture. Royal Enfield has came up with a great scrambler motor cycle after so long time. I would prefer this from many scramblers in Indian market because it has good mileage and great ground clearance. It is good with the city rides too so this motorcycle will always be the best for you.Read More
