Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Mana Black Edition vs Standard: Differences Explained

The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Mana Black has been launched in India at Motoverse 2025, and this new top-end variant of the Himalayan 450 comes with a lot of new accessories as standard. Here’s how it is different compared to the regular Royal Enfield Himalayan 450.
New Colour Scheme
First unveiled at EICMA 2025, this variant of the Himalayan 450 gets a special black colour scheme with dark grey graphics. The camouflaged graphics are similar to the ones we have seen on the Kamet White colour. When compared to the previous top-end variant, the Hanle Black colour scheme, the Mana Black colour looks a bit more subtle and elegant as it does not get the flashy yellow highlights.
New Standard Accessories
Along with the new colours, the bike also comes with a few accessories as standard. It includes full length knuckle guards with an aluminum brace, a flatter rally style seat and also a redesigned tail section.
The rally seat should make it easier for the rider to move around while riding off-road, and the redesigned tail-section is likely to be one of the reasons for the reduction in the bike’s kerb weight by 1kg compared to the standard model. That said, the rally seat has increased the seat height to 860mm compared to the 825mm on the standard variant.

To further enhance practicality, the bike gets tubeless spoke wheels as standard. Spoke wheels are better equipped to take a beating while riding off-road and tubeless tyres will make it easier to deal with punctures. Just with this addition, the brand has really taken the bike’s off-road credentials to the next level. These wheels alone cost Rs 15,990 for a pair if purchased with the bike while buying anew. They’re even more expensive for existing Himalayan owners.
A Custom Exhaust
We also saw the Himalayan 450 Mana Black sporting a custom exhaust from Arrow. This could help improve the bike’s performance, but unfortunately, it won’t be available in India. The brand is only planning on offering this as an accessory in the European markets.
A Better Himalayan 450?
The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 was already a capable adventure bike with decent off-road capabilities. With the launch of the Mana Black Edition, the brand wants to give off-road enthusiasts a slightly more capable machine straight out of the factory. The Mana Black is priced at Rs 3,37,036 (ex-showroom, Chennai), which is a Rs 17,354 premium over the previous top-end Hanle Black. That’s a fair premium considering you get several practical and cool-looking bits over the standard bike.
If we were to nitpick, it could’ve gotten an adjustable suspension and could’ve been even lighter for proper rally-ready performance. However, that would’ve driven up the cost substantially, so it seems like Royal Enfield made the right call balancing out the fun-to-cost ratio.

I'm truly into adventurous and among tourer bike. I have like very few options and this one is far better among all bikes and it is very big good power and torque, good cc and it looks good on roads. Ride has been really good smooth, engine is great, suspension and stable highways, a bit heavy in city traffic, tough but on highways its so smooth and riding been fun on ghat roads too, like the rural area type. Purely because of Royal Enfield reliability Upgrading from a 2015 classic 350 to Himalayan 450 is a massive difference, Literally is built for no roads. Feels like a bigger bike compared to previous generations. Bigger tank unlocks better highway travels. Positive about the bike is the Ride has been the smoothest the engine is very responsive in a good way.
