The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Mana Black Edition has been launched in India, at the brand’s yearly motorcycle festival in Goa, Motoverse 2025. True to its name, drawn from the village of Mana on the Indo-Tibetan border, this new Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 variant carries a distinctively rugged aesthetic. It is priced at Rs 3,37,036 (ex-showroom, Chennai), making it Rs 17,354 more expensive than the previous top-end Hanle Black edition. Here’s everything you need to know:
What’s New?
The all-black colour palette is complemented by dark-grey graphics and other elements that add to its adventure intent. Key changes include factory-fitted knuckle guards with aluminium brace, a rally-style flatter seat raised to 860mm (825mm on standard bike), a flared tail section, tubeless tyres with cross-spoke wheels. Lastly, the kerb weight is now 195kg – 1 kg lighter than before.

What’s The Same?
Hardware like the 452cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, 6-speed gearbox, assist-and-slipper clutch, steel tube frame, box-section swingarm, braking hardware, suspension, wheel sizes (21-inch front, 18 rear), dual-purpose tyres, 230mm ground clearance – all remain unchanged from the regular bike. Note that the tyres are tubeless, now that the spoke wheels can accommodate them.
Even features like the circular TFT console with Bluetooth, full Google Maps navigation, phone alerts, music controls; and the ride modes, ABS modes, all-LED lighting – are all carried over.

The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 was already a strong contender in the 450-500cc adventure bike segment against rivals like the KTM 390 Adventure. But, with the Mana Black Edition, the Chennai-based brand has delivered a version that needs fewer aftermarket tweaks to have fun off-road. This factory-equipped, rally-ready variant checks many of the right boxes for those riders who want to go off-road straight from the showroom. The premium is also very reasonable considering the fact that buying those tubeless spoke wheels separately will cost you a lot of money. We just wish the weight was reduced further. - 5.6 ft reviewAs my riding style is a little off-road type. I usually don't look out for small potholes and like that so Himalayan is way too good for the indian roads. Good for touring and city ride. Can be easily manoeuvred through the traffic Rides been good. Can be easily managed. I have driven this for the distance at 400 km till in one day.
