Honda's first EV for India will likely be an electric scooter, possibly the Activa Electric, which is set to debut some time next year

Honda recently launched the Shine 100, and along the sidelines of the event, the Japanese bikemaker also revealed that it will be announcing its electric two-wheeler plans on March 29.

Likely to be a scooter, Honda’s first electric two-wheeler is set to debut sometime next year, this was revealed by Atsushi Ogata, CEO and MD of Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India, at the launch of the Activa H-Smart. The upcoming e-scooter will likely be based on the Honda Activa, the best selling product of the company.
