Both the retro roadsters offer very different experiences. The Honda CB500 stands out as the more feature-rich motorcycle with ABS and traction control and modern connectivity features. The motorcycle hasn't been launched yet, but we expect it to be priced at around Rs 2.80 lakh (ex-showroom).
On the other hand, the Gold Star offers stronger performance thanks to its larger engine. Priced at Rs 3,45,950 (ex-showroom, Delhi), it stays true to its old-school character with minimal electronic aids.

I was looking for a big bike that is easy to handle & has some character. BSA Gold Star has a classic & thumpy character that makes you feel like an old school charm. I'm primarily using it for city & highway rides. I have ridden it around 6000 kms that include both city & highway rides. The bike has great rear suspension & okayish front suspension (could've been improved). I prefer to setup the pre load to 4 (against the default 2) for better quality ride. Yes, Definitely go for it if you're looking for a thumpy performance & old school characterful bike. Suites best for city & highway commutes.
