The cafe racer kit was showcased at 2023 Osaka Motorcycle Show In Japan
Yamaha has introduced a custom XSR125 cafe racer kit at the 2023 Osaka Motorcycle Show In Japan and it is safe to say, we are charmed.
Interestingly, there’s not a lot to the kit – it flaunts a bikini cowl and a custom single-piece saddle that revamps the appeal of the bike from a neo-retro roadster to a lovely cafe racer. It also features other bits including aluminum crankcase covers and a bash plate.

It also seems to get a custom sporty red and black paint scheme. Apart from this, the rest of the bike remains completely unchanged. It is powered by the same 125cc single-cylinder engine making 14.9PS and 11.5Nm, and comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
The custom mod kit hasn’t been made available in the market yet. Sadly, the XSR125 or the 155 will not be coming to India any time soon. However, we do have the neo-retro Yamaha FZ-X in India which is now updated with more tech.
