The e-Access could be launched by end of 2025
We have obtained exclusive images of the Suzuki e-Access charging stations, which are being established at select dealerships across the country. The brand is likely working on building a strong charging network before the scooter’s launch. As a result, we can expect Suzuki to launch the electric scooter by November or December - essentially before the end of this year. That way, by the time the e-Access hits the roads, there will be a reasonably healthy network of charging points across the country.
With over 1,000 touch-points, Suzuki’s dealer network is pretty strong, so leveraging its own dealerships for charging infrastructure makes a lot of sense. This will also ensure not having to invest extra in securing the location (like how the brand will have to do at standalone charging points).
Given its limited 95km claimed range, it’s all the more important for Suzuki to establish a healthy charging network. This explains the delay in launching the e-scooter as we got to ride the EV back in June 2025 itself. With the fast charger that we have seen in showrooms, charging the Suzuki e-Access from 0 to 100 will take 2 hours and 12 minutes. Otherwise, with the portable charger, the 3.07kWh fixed battery pack takes 6 hours and 42 minutes to juice up from 0-100%.

The e-Access will be Suzuki’s first electric scooter in India, and it will go up against other family-oriented e-scooters in the market such as the Ola S1X, the TVS iQube and the Honda Activa e. Production of the scooter began way back on May 23, 2025. Suzuki seems to be taking its own sweet time, but we think that’s a good decision as the brand wants to set the basics right before starting deliveries of the e-Access. In other news, Suzuki has unveiled a CNG version of the Suzuki Access 125 at Japan Mobility Show 2025. We think it could be coming to India soon, once the CNG infrastructure is developed enough, and could be a nice middle ground between the Suzuki E-Access and the Suzuki Access 125.

wanted an electric alternative. had an activa generation 2 before this. rented this from a friend in another state and have been riding it ever since. And since suzuki has their own platform for e-service, i was interested to ride it and check it out overall. about alright. suspension is on the stiffer side but overall smooth! the seat comfort and height is very friendly, as compared to other scooters in the market, anyone in the 5ft in range can easily ride this without any fear. I would recommend this bike only if you ride short distances. This is the kind of EV that offers average range as compared to the bigger brands that have been around for a decent bit, not to name any names. Overall, a 3.8 rating from my end is a good standard rating.Read More
