The prices of select variants of the motorcycle have been revealed on the brand’s website

The Ducati Scrambler 800 BS6 is now available in three variants: Icon, Nighshift and Desert Sled. Apart from a cleaner engine, the entire range gets new colours and cosmetic changes for 2021. The output figures as well as the underpinnings have remained unchanged.

The prices of the Ducati Scrambler 800 BS6 Desert Sled and Nighshift variants have been revealed on the brand’s official website. Expect the Italian bikemaker to officially launch the bikes real soon. The motorcycles made their global debut earlier this month, and here’s the full ex-showroom Delhi price list:

Variants

Colour options and prices

Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled

Silver, red and blue version: Rs 11,80,000

Ducati Scrambler Nightshift

Grey: Rs 10,70,000

The Ducati Scrambler Icon and the Icon Dark are basically the same except for the colour scheme, wheels and rearview mirror design. Expect Scrambler Icon to command a premium of around Rs 1.90 lakh over its BS4-compliant iteration, which started from Rs 7.89 lakh (ex-showroom India). Ducati has discontinued the Scrambler Cafe Racer as well as Full Throttle variants.

For a good balance of practicality, sportiness and premium quotient, the Scrambler Nightshift is similar to the now-discontinued Scrambler Full Throttle, albeit with 18-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke wheels with Pirelli MT60RS tyres, low and wide handlebars from the Scrambler 1100 Pro, and a bench seat for better comfort. The Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled is perfect for enthusiasts who like to go off-roading. It gets 46mm long-travel fully adjustable front fork, Kayaba preload and rebound adjustable rear monoshock, a large 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke wheel with off-road friendly Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tyres.

Powering all these bikes is an 803cc L-twin air-cooled Euro 5/ BS6-compliant engine churning out the same power as before: 72.8PS at 8250rpm and 66.2Nm at 5750rpm. All the variants, except for the Desert Sled, are suspended on a 41mm Kayaba inverted front fork and a Kayaba preload-adjustable rear monoshock. All the variants including the Desert Sled are anchored by a 330mm front disc and a 245mm rear disc with Bosch cornering ABS.
