Diwali Arrives Early For Suzuki Gixxer 150 Range: Check New Colours And Offers

The brand has announced exchange schemes, extended warranty offers, and more

Quick News Highlights

  • Suzuki has launched new colours for the Gixxer 150cc range

  • Festive offers worth up to Rs 7,000 also announced

  • Performance and other features remain unchanged

Suzuki India has launched new colour schemes for the Suzuki Gixxer 150 and the Gixxer SF 150. Along with this, the brand has also announced festive offers, with savings worth up to Rs 7,000. Here’s a detailed breakdown of what’s new:

New Colours

Suzuki has offered two new colours for Suzuki Gixxer SF 150: “Metallic Oort Gray + Pearl Mira Red” and “Glass Sparkle Black + Metallic Oort Gray”.

For the naked Suzuki Gixxer, the brand now offers 3 new and updated colours. The “Metallic Oort Gray + Pearl Mira Red” is a new colour scheme. On the other hand, the “Glass Sparkle Black + Metallic Oort Gray” and “Metallic Triton Blue + Glass Sparkle Black” have been updated with new graphics.

These new colours bring a breath of fresh air on the two bikes, and is Suzuki’s attempt at keeping them relevant this Diwali season where demand tends to increase because of the festive season. It’s similar to what the brand had done with the Suzuki V-Strom SX 250

That said, the Gixxer is still far behind in terms of features, especially when compared to its rival, the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V. Even the other rival, the Hero Xtreme 160R 4V, is set to get a whole bunch of interesting and useful features

But there’s still hope, as the brand has announced several Diwali offers.

Suzuki Gixxer Festive Offers

The Gixxer SF 150 gets exchange offers worth Rs 5,000, an extended warranty for Rs 1,999 and insurance benefits up to Rs 7,000. The Gixxer 150, on the other hand, gets the same exchange offers and extended warranty scheme, but the insurance benefits are slightly lower coming in at Rs 6,000.

With the post GST 2.0 pricing, both the bikes have become a lot more affordable than before as well. The Gixxer SF 150 now comes at a price starting at Rs 1,37,231, whereas the Gixxer 150 is now priced starting at Rs 1,26,421 (both prices are ex-showroom, Delhi). This makes the naked bike around Rs 11,479 cheaper whereas the faired bike gets about Rs 10,169 more affordable.

Other than the addition of these new colour schemes, both the bikes remain unchanged in terms of performance and underpinnings. Both are powered by the same 155cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine which produces 13.6PS and 13.8Nm.

Best value for money bike with comfortable ride and smooth performance. It offers excellent mileage, a stylish design and is more affordable then other bike in same category making a great choice for daily commuting. The ride has been smooth and enjoyable so far. The awesome bike

My gixxer was a BS4 version. But I can say that suzuki makes not one of the best, THE BEST engines. I bought it in 2018 and no body sounds found till date. Very minimum maintenance needed. I just change the oil and oil filter in 4-5 months and wash it. The mileage is around 50 and it's a good mileage. Breaking is just awesome. Never failed to stop in time. I love it like my darling. But I don't like the new headlight design. If you like LED headlights then it's a plus for you. One minor con is that the backseat is higher like a sporty bike. Other than that the bike gives you everything you need in this price segment. Read More
