There has never been a better time to love retro classics, especially in India!

2025 saw a solid mix of classic-inspired motorcycles that combine old-school appeal with everyday practicality, all comfortably priced under Rs 3 lakh. From neo-retro roadsters to cafe racers, here are five affordable retro bikes that made waves this year:
Yamaha XSR155
Price: Rs 1,49,990 (ex-showroom, Delhi)

The Yamaha XSR155 was one of the most talked-about neo-retro launches of 2025. Based on the same 155cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine as the R15 V4, it makes 18.4PS and 14.2Nm, paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The XSR155 brings a classic round LED headlight, dual-disc brakes with dual-channel ABS and traction control, along with Bluetooth connectivity in a retro sports package—all while keeping the kerb weight fairly light, at around 137 kg.
Yezdi Roadster
Price: From Rs 1,93,565 (ex-showroom, Delhi)

The Yezdi Roadster stayed true to its brand’s classic looks in 2025. Offered in multiple variants with prices starting under Rs 2.10 lakh (ex-showroom), this 334cc motorcycle blends retro aesthetics like a sculpted tank and classic round headlight with modern touches. The Roadster’s relaxed ergonomics aim for everyday usability without compromising on fun performance.
Harley-Davidson X440T
Price: Rs 2,79,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi)

The Harley-Davidson X440T arrived as part of the expanded roadster range this year. Built on a 440 platform developed in collaboration with Hero MotoCorp, the single-cylinder engine is tuned for accessible midrange torque and a comfortable riding stance. While it carries classic roadster design cues, its mechanical package is meant to appeal to those seeking relaxed highway cruising and urban comfort.
Triumph Thruxton 400
Price: Rs 2,74,137 (ex-showroom, Delhi)

Triumph entered the cafe-racer space in India with the Thruxton 400. Based on the familiar 398cc single-cylinder platform, this bike places a stronger emphasis on retro cafe styling with a half fairing, sculpted tank, clip-on bars and a more aggressive rider posture than its siblings.
Updated Royal Enfield Hunter 350
Price: From Rs 1,37,640 (ex-showroom, Chennai)

Although the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 was originally launched earlier, the 2025 model brought new colour options and minor yet very meaningful updates while also keeping prices fairly competitive (especially after the GST 2.0-led price reduction). Powered by a 349 cc air/oil-cooled engine making about 20.2 PS and 27 Nm, it remains one of the most accessible retro-styled 350s. Its upright ergonomics, manageable seat height, and now, improved ride quality, make it a sensible choice for riders who want classic Royal Enfield flair without premium pricing.

Brilliant City + Highway Bike. Fully Satisfied!*Brilliant city and highway bike. Fully satisfied. I have driven my Hunter 350 for almost 17,000 kms and everything is fantastic. The ride comfort is superb both on streets and highways. It handles traffic easily and is equally stable on long rides. The ride quality is brilliant with less vibrations and smooth engine. Looks are amazing - it has that perfect retro + modern street bike presence. Everywhere I go, people ask about it. Mileage, maintenance and overall reliability has been great. Fully satisfied with my purchase. Hunter 350 is the best bike in this segment.Read More
Don’t thing anything about this bike..grab it nowI choose this bike because for their iconic, timeless, and rugged aesthetic, providing a distinct sense of freedom and rebellion. Harley Davidson bikes are known for their heavy duty frames. The signature 45 degree twin engine creates a distinct potato sounds and i like this. My bike riding experience is characterised by high comfort, strong, torque performance and excellent stability, though I noticed wind fatigue and heavy weight at slow speed. I find this bike particularly comfort. Yes, the Harley Davidson bike is recommended as a highly capable comfortable, and peppy urban cruiser. The suspension is plush, handling rough roads well and the seat is well padded. If you are looking for a reliable, feature pick this bike.Read More
