Apache RTR 200 4V TFT with Map Mirroring

The new Pulsar NS200 is considerably more expensive than the Apache RTR 200 4V. Even compared with the top-spec Apache TFT with Map Mirroring, the Pulsar commands a premium of around Rs 10,384. The question is whether its extra performance and technology justify the difference.

Bajaj Pulsar NS200: More Power And A Modern Feature Set

    2026 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 Design

With its aggressive front appearance, sharp tank extensions, and sculpted fuel tank, Bajaj has maintained the iconic muscular streetfighter style of the NS200. The most recent update focuses more on enhancing the motorcycle's equipment and performance than completely changing its appearance as its general silhouette is still popular.

    2026 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 Engine

The biggest change is under the skin. Its 199.5cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine now produces 25.5PS, which is 1PS more than before. The maximum torque remains unchanged at 18.74Nm, and the engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox. The motorcycle also gets an electronic throttle body, riding modes, traction control and a bidirectional quickshifter. These additions should make it more engaging to ride, particularly for those who enjoy spirited riding.

2026 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 TFT Display

A major upgrade has also been made to the technology package. Google Maps mirroring, smartphone connectivity, and music controls are all supported by the new 5-inch TFT display. A USB-C charging port has been added, while adjustable clutch and front brake levers make it easier for riders to tailor the controls to their preferences. Convenience and safety are further enhanced by a panic brake alarm and hazard light switch.

2026 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 Front Disc Brake

The NS200's suspension setup consists of a USD fork and a rear monoshock, and the disc brakes on both ends with dual-channel ABS handles the braking duties. Its 805mm seat height and 12-liter petrol tank are unchanged.

TVS Apache RTR 200 4V: A Sporty Alternative With Useful Features

    2026 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V Design

With its massive tank extensions and sporty rear section, the Apache RTR 200 4V offers a sleek, muscular appearance. It has a unique front-end design thanks to its projector headlamp and LED DRLs, and its overall dimensions make it appear compact yet purposeful. The latest versions also get updated equipment and colour options, keeping the motorcycle relevant in an increasingly competitive segment.

    2026 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V Engine

    Power comes from a 197.75cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine producing 20.82PS and 17.25Nm. Unlike the NS200, the RTR 200 4V uses a five-speed gearbox and produces less power.

2026 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V TFT Console

The Apache also has a useful list of features. Depending on the variant, it gets a TFT console, smartphone connectivity, call and SMS alerts. And the latest TFT with Map Mirroring variant adds Google Maps mirroring, a USB-C charging port and a panic brake alert. Adjustable front suspension and brake and clutch levers are among the equipment available on the relevant versions.

2026 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V Front Disc Brake

The Apache has disc brakes on both ends and dual-channel ABS for further safety. Its USD fork and rear monoshock are made to provide a balance between handling and daily comfort, and it also offers traction control.

The Apache RTR 200 4V's main advantage is that it offers a sporty riding experience and a useful feature set at a lower price.

    2026 Bajaj Pulsar NS200

The updated Bajaj Pulsar NS200 makes a stronger case for itself with its increased power output, six-speed gearbox and new technology. The addition of a TFT display, riding modes, traction control and a bidirectional quickshifter gives it a more comprehensive equipment package. However, its higher price means that buyers will have to decide whether these upgrades are worth paying extra for.

    2026 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V

The Apache RTR 200 4V by TVS, meanwhile, remains a sensible option for those who want a sporty motorcycle with useful features at a lower price. Its three riding modes, dual-channel ABS and connected instrument console make it well-equipped for everyday use, while its lower kerb weight may appeal to riders who prioritise ease of handling.

If performance and the latest technology are your priorities, the new Pulsar NS200 is worth considering. But if you want to save money without giving up a sporty design, modern features and an engaging riding experience, the Apache RTR 200 4V TFT with Map Mirroring makes a strong case for itself. The final choice comes down to whether you value the Pulsar's extra performance and newer electronics enough to justify the price difference.

No vibration, perfect riding position, best performance, all rounder bike. And because I trust the bajaj and in this segment this is the best bike i bought. And the good one is gearing position, I like the design of my bike. Mileage i got on highway around 40 kml in cities 34 around, but best handling in every way. I ride the bike around 1900 km and I got the good mileage i observed there is no mileage drop in this segment. I ride around 50 km per day. Don't buy if you are not a men. Because pulsar is only for men. I would suggest this bike for every men, it is also best for college students and office mates. It attracts the whole attention of everyone.

      Ride Tested Rider Approved
To be frank the engine is so smooth compared with it's previous versions...no vibration till 90kmph and I have found the sweet spot at 80kmph. The highest speed which i have clocked on this bike is 130kmph on a national highway I do long and short rides frequently on this bike and I feel little pain on my palm and back on long rides because of little hard seat cushion but when it comes to a ride of upto 140kms no stress at all you can make it easily, and in love with it's bass of its sound. I'm a pure lover of riding bikes.. and I must must recommend this bike to the people who are in there 20's to 35's and are looking for there daily commute but in style, power, and most important efficiency then is the go for bike totally worth it.. The stance it has and the looks it grabs on the city roads are just wow
