Yamaha Motor India has introduced the 2022 Monster Energy MotoGP edition for four of its models: the R15M, MT-15 Version 2.0, Aerox 155 and the RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid.
Further enhancing the R15M and the MT-15 Version 2.0’s sporty appeal, they’ve been given the MotoGP branding on the tank shrouds, fuel tank and side panels. The Aerox 155 and the RayZR on the other hand get the MotoGP livery all over their body.
While the paint schemes look absolutely gorgeous, what further boosts the exclusivity factor is the fact that they’ll be offered in limited numbers only. Yamaha will only sell these MotoGP editions through its premium Blue Square outlets that are present in only a handful of cities right now.
What sweetens the deal is the price. While getting such attractive livery, none of the two-wheelers have seen a substantial price hike. The R15M retails at Rs 1,90,900 (ex-showroom Delhi) for the MotoGP livery, while the MT-15 Version 2.0 costs Rs 1,65,400 (ex-showroom Delhi). The RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid carries a price tag of Rs 87,330 (ex-showroom Delhi), translating to a hike of Rs 2,000 for all the three, over their base variants.
While the prices of the Aerox 155 MotoGP Edition are yet to be announced, we expect it to carry a similar hike over the base model, which currently retails at Rs 1,39,300 (ex-showroom Delhi).

I had a brother who likes riding this old r15 and I was small and didn't knew any super bikes at all, and this was my first super bike which had all sharpnes at edges, the colour, the speed, it had some personality. Its been amazing bike so far, smooth, light weight. Its top speed is pretty good. It gives good mileage. It is very nice for long rides. Performance of the bike is so good. Suspensions works very well on road. Yes, for sure but take my opinion and explore different bike, It may have something that this bike wouldn't have that charm but you can go for it, if you want sporty look and a good racing bike. The r15 v4 has the old punch while handling the BS6 engine with good aerodynamics and aggressive seating position. Its very easy to reach 140+ with default setting while it was not made for the long drive push, we can try the limits where I've driven around 25,000km in the same bike as well.
