BREAKING: Royal Enfield Himalayan 440 Launch To Happen On This Date
It will be more affordable than the Himalayan 450, and here's more about it

The Royal Enfield Himalayan 440 launch will happen on September 4, 2026. The ADV will be based on the same platform as the Scram 440, and will be priced lower than the Himalayan 450 – expected to be priced around Rs 2.5 lakh (ex-showroom).

Now if that sounds interesting to you, here’s what it should pack:
-
A 443 cc air-oil-cooled single cylinder engine, six-speed gearbox
-
Should make 25 PS and 34 Nm – same as the Scram – but may be tuned differently
-
21-inch front, 17-inch rear, spoked wheels – no tubeless expected.
-
Disc brakes, ABS, traction control
-
Tripper navigation display and riding modes
-
Being a Royal Enfield bike, can expect an exhaustive set of factory customisation options
BikeDekho Says
The Himalayan 440 will be a good alternative for those who prefer a simpler ADV (in technical sense). Also, the older 411 engine had a niche following exactly because of its simplicity. The new 443 cc unit is the same but with more performance that makes the bike even easier. And all of that without spending the Himalayan 450 kind of money.
Royal Enfield Himalayan 440 User Reviews
- himalayan the choiceBest cruising segment bike for on road and off road. May performance is best in segment. Powerful engine, previous version of this bike are pretty good but the current version are not practically good or styling. I expect, the upcoming version will fulfil that gap. Just waiting for the official launch of this bike.Read More20 10
