What’s new on the Bajaj Chetak 3201 Special Edition?

The Bajaj Chetak 3201 Special Edition comes in the Brooklyn Black paint scheme with new graphics, including a light grey Chetak decal on both sides of the body panel. This decal is complemented by a light grey stripe below it, followed by three dots, with the centre dot in blue. The e-scooter also comes with an embossed chrome Chetak logo on both sides. The Chetak 3201 has a dual-tone, quilted single-piece seat. It also features grey and blue rim stickers.

The Chetak 3201 delivers an ARAI-certified range of 136km (10km more than the range-topping Premium variant) and takes 5 hours and 30 minutes to charge from 0 to 100 percent.

What remains unchanged on the Bajaj Chetak 3201 Special Edition?

The Chetak 3201 variant continues to be equipped with a 4kW (continuous) brushless DC motor which is powered by a 3.2kWh lithium-ion battery pack. The e-scooter can achieve a claimed top speed of 73kmph.

The standard Chetak 3201 features a 5-inch monochrome TFT console with limited smartphone connectivity features. It only gets a single riding mode (Eco). Whereas, the TecPac variant gets a 5-inch colour TFT instrument console with two riding modes: Eco and Sport along with a reverse mode and hill-hold assist feature. The TecPac also provides all the connectivity features including turn-by-turn navigation, OTA updates, vehicle health information and tamper alerts. It gets an all-LED lighting setup.

The scooter features a single-sided linked suspension at the front, similar to Vespa scooters, and a monoshock at the rear. The Chetak 3201 variant has a disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear. The Bajaj Chetak has a ground clearance of 160mm and a seat height of 760mm. It has a kerb weight of 134kg.

BikeDekho Says

The Bajaj Chetak 3201 features a refreshed look and incorporates components from other Chetak variants. It sits just below the top-of-the-line Premium variant but offers 10km more range (the highest in the Chetak range). It also gets the front disc brake from the Premium variant, yet it is priced more affordably. This makes it a sensible choice for customers who want the features of the Premium variant at a lower price.
