2025 Yezdi Adventure vs KTM 250 Adventure: Image Comparison
With a powerful motor, exciting list of features and rugged looks, the Yezdi offers enough to be compared with the more expensive KTM 250 Adventure
Yezdi recently launched the 2025 Adventure in India. The motorcycle gets updated styling and added features with a minor price cut. In India, the Yezdi Adventure competes with the KTM 250 Adventure. Both bikes are good adventure touring options, at least on paper. The Yezdi Adventure is an off-road-biased ADV, while the KTM 250 Adventure is a road-biased ADV. Let's compare these motorcycles in images.
Design
For 2025, Yezdi has given the Adventure an asymmetrical, twin LED headlights and tail lights, which makes the motorcycle look different from its previous version. However, other than the new lighting setup, the motorcycle retains the rest of its rugged retro-modern design.. The motorcycle is now available in 6 new colour options: Forest Green, Ocean Blue, Desert Khaki, Tornado Black, Glacier White, and Wolf Grey.
In comparison, the KTM 250 Adventure looks quite modern, with its sharp design and Dakar bike inspired styling. It gets a tall visor, with neatly-designed front fairing and slim-looking tail section. The 250 Adventure is available in only two colour options: Electronic Orange, and Ceramic White.
Engine
The Yezdi Adventure uses the same engine as before, but with OBD-2B compliance. This 334cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor makes 29.6PS at 8,000rpm and 29.6Nm at 5,800rpm. In the earlier update, this Alpha 2 engine got major updates which gave it better low-end and mid-range grunt. This update made it better while off-roading and the slightly taller 6th gear makes highway touring a bit easier.
The KTM 250 Adventure boasts of engaging performance. Its 249cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine makes 31PS at 9,250rpm and 25Nm at 7,250rpm. Its higher-revving engine is better suited for highway runs, but it has decent grunt for soft roading as well.
Underpinnings
The Yezdi uses a double-cradle frame along with a 41mm telescopic fork, and a monoshock with preload adjustability. The bike has 200mm front wheel travel and 180mm rear wheel travel, along with an impressive 220mm of ground clearance. The bike gets a 320mm front and a 240mm rear disc brake setup with axially mounted front caliper. It runs on a 21-inch front and a 17-inch rear, spoke wheel setup with tubed tyres. The 15.5-litre fuel tank should provide a pretty decent tank range on the Yezdi. At 187kg (kerb weight), the Yezdi is 9kg heavier than the 250 Adventure.
The 250 Adventure uses a split trellis frame along with 43mm inverted fork with 200mm of travel and a preload adjustable monoshock with 205mm of wheel travel. It gets a 320mm front and a 230mm rear disc brake setup with an axially mounted front caliper. The KTM gets slightly better ground clearance at 228mm. It runs on a 19-inch front and a 17-inch rear alloy wheel setup. At 14.5 litres, the fuel tank is 1-litre smaller as compared to the Yezdi.
Features
The Yezdi Adventure gets an all-LED light setup with a digital display which gets tilt adjustability and supports smartphone connectivity with turn-by-turn navigation and SMS/call alerts. The motorcycle gets dual-channel ABS with 3 three modes: Road, Rain and Off-road. For 2025, Yezdi has also given the Adventure switchable traction control system, which makes it a lot more safer to ride for newer riders. Other features include a USB charging port and adjustable windscreen.
The 250 Adventure also gets all-LED lights along with a 5-inch TFT display which supports smartphone connectivity for turn-by-turn navigation and SMS/call alerts. It also gets a switchable dual channel ABS and a bidirectional quickshifter, but misses out on a traction control system. The bike also gets a slipper clutch, ride-by-wire throttle and a USB charging port for added convenience.

The base variant of the new Yezdi Adventure is cheaper by Rs 44,950 than the 250 Adventure. While the top-end variant is Rs 32,950 cheaper than the 250 Adventure. That said, these bikes sit on opposite ends of the ADV spectrum, and as such, have different equipment as we saw.
If you love travelling long distances and also want to take your bike off-road, the Yezdi Adventure fits the bill. But if you will only be riding on paved roads, and maybe a bit of broken roads, the KTM 250 Adventure is the one to go for. Irrespective, both the bikes should be good touring companions.

Smooth on highways, stylish and its a cool thing to have on trails. It was a really smooth experience with the bike, it gives very good mileage and good for rugged planes and is easy to ride in the dense forest areas. The rides are very smooth and is really nice. I can't describe the amount of fun me and my friends had with the bike. We did a all india trip and still the bike was really smooth and not much to maintain, so it's reliable.
