2024 Honda CB300R Launched In India
And it has received a massive price cut!
Honda has launched the 2024 CB300R in India and it costs Rs 2.40 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), which is a massive Rs 37,000 less than before. We found the neo-retro bike to be a likeable one the last time we rode it but it was pricey for what it had to offer.
Otherwise, the bike doesn’t really get any changes. The 286cc liquid-cooled mill still makes 30.4PS and 27.4Nm. And at 146kg, the bike is still extremely light. In fact, it’s lighter than some of the 150cc bikes out there.
With this price cut, the CB300R is a lot more equipped to take on its chief rivals like the BMW G 310 R, which costs Rs 50,000 more! These things said, the Triumph Speed 400’s incredible Rs 2.33 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) price tag means it is the bike that makes more sense, given its better build quality, more powerful engine, and much better comfort levels.

- Honda CB300R handles very poorlyI personally feel that Honda CB300R handles very poorly compared to other bikes in this segment. The bike being light in weight, high wind speeds easily topples the whole bike and makes it exceedingly unstable at speeds above 80 kilometers per hour.
