2016 Honda Activa-i Launched With New Colours

Honda has launched the Activa-i with new graphics and colour option, starting at Rs. 46,596 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The second largest two-wheeler manufacturer in India, Honda Motorcycles and Scooter India Pvt Ltd (HMSI), has launched the 2016 Activa-i with a starting price of Rs. 46,596 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The scooter gets three new colour options along with refreshed graphic patterns and is the company's seventh new model of 2016.

Speaking about the new launch, Yadvinder Singh Guleria, senior vice president, sales & marketing, HMSI said, “In line with our strategy to surprise our customers by adding freshness to our products regularly, the 2016 Activa-i is Honda’s seventh new model of 2016. With this, we are confident of driving rapid scooterization of two-wheeler industry.”

The 2016 Honda Activa-i is available in two different trims. Besides the new colours, Pearl Trance Yellow and Candy Jazzy Blue, the standard variant of new Activa-i will be available in Pearl Amazing White and Black. In addition to Orchid Purple Metallic and Pearl Amazing White, the Deluxe variant will be available in a new Imperial Red metallic colour also.

The sleek, lightweight & compact Honda Activa-i is powered by the reliable 110cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine with HET (Honda Eco Technology). The motor produces 7.83bhp of maximum power at 7,500rpm and delivers a peak torque of 8.74Nm at 5,500rpm. The scooter features a comfortable and long seat, tubeless tyres, Combi Brake System (CBS), catchy graphics and much more, and the Deluxe trim also gets new coloured inner panels.
