Honda SP160

Honda SP160 is a motorcycle with a starting price of Rs 1.18 Lakh. It is available in India in 2 variants and 6 colours with high end variant price starting from Rs 1.22 Lakh. The Honda SP160 is a commuter bike and a sportier version of the Honda Unicorn. Launched in 2023, the Honda SP160 is the third offering from the Japanese brand in the 160cc category, replacing the Honda XBlade in its line-up.

The Honda SP160 is available in two variants: SP160 Single Disc, priced at Rs. 1,17,500, and SP160 Double Disc, which comes at the price of Rs. 1,21,900. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi. 

There are six colour choices for the bike, namely: Pearl Igneous Black, Matte Axis Gray Metallic, Pearl Deep Ground Gray, Matte Dark Blue Metallic, Matte Marvel Blue Metallic and Pearl Spartan Red.

Honda SP160 Engine

The Honda SP160 gets a BS6.2-compliant 162.7cc, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine, producing 13.46PS@7500rpm and 14.58Nm @5500rpm. The motor comes paired with a 5-speed gearbox.

Honda SP160 Suspension & Brakes

The Honda SP160 is built on a diamond frame with a telescopic fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear. The braking setup features a 276mm disc at the front and a 220mm disc or 130mm drum (single disc variant) at the back. The Honda SP160 gets a wider 80/100-17 tubeless tyre at the front and a 130/70-17 tubeless tyre at the rear with a single-channel ABS.

The motorcycle comes with a ground clearance of 177mm, while it has a seat height of 796mm and a fuel tank of 12 litres.

The Honda SP160 comes with a digital instrument cluster providing basic information such as speed, mileage, trip, gear position, fuel consumption level, time, and a service reminder. The bike also features an LED headlight, LED taillamp, engine killswitch and hazard switch for safety, especially in areas with poor visibility.
