Ola Diamondhead

Upcoming Ola electric bikes' launch timelines have been revealed. The EV maker plans to launch electric motorcycles in 2025. Previously, Ola unveiled four bikes including the Roadster, Diamondhead, Adventure and Cruiser, on August 15, 2023.

Of the four motorcycles, what was probably the most radical one was the Ola Diamondhead, an outlandish supersport.  

The Ola Diamondhead electric motorcycle’s design makes it stand out. There's a prominent dome-shaped windscreen accompanied by an LED strip headlamp along with clip-on handlebars. Another interesting aspect is the digital console, concealed beneath a retractable plastic cover that unveils itself upon activation.

However, the most striking feature is the oversized swingarm positioned at the front. This unconventional design hints at the utilization of a hub-centred steering system, deviating from the conventional fork arrangement. While it looks incredible in concept, if it'll actually make its way to the production unit is something that remains to be seen. Departing from traditional chain drives, the Diamondhead also gets a belt drive system.  

The Ola Diamondhead will be launched in India between April and September, 2025, at around Rs 3. 50 lakh (ex-showroom) mark. Once here, it'll go up against the only other electric supersport in India, the Ultraviolette F77.
